I have a pork tenderloin. It comes in 2 pieces and usually I make 1 piece a roast and the other into a Country Pork stew from a Betty Crocker cookbook. I'm ready for a different stew if anyone has a recipe. Neither DH nor I (empty nesters) are particularly fond of garlic, so we wouldn't appreciate a recipe with lots of that.

I found one on line that uses chicken broth, dried roasmary, sage, half and half, green onions...that sounds like something I would try. Any suggestions.

Thank you.

This is my favorites for pork tenderloin - roast pork tenderloin with apples and cider sauce (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/107206)

Really good served with mashed sweet potatoes and corn. :thumbsup2

Yes, apples and pork would be fine to try...thank you! I wonder what arrowroot tastes like.

You don't taste the arrowroot. It's like cornstarch used to thicken the sauce. If you don't like the tang of vinegar, you can even leave it out. I usually leave it out when I'm cooking for kids.

I also love to braise pork in apple cider, but I usually do a cut with more fat for that.
