I plan to take cash to take for tipping and lock in the room safe. When I tip, do I put the whole cabins tip in one envelope or do you separate it by each person? When you give it to them ,do you write the cabin # on it or what? Thanks for the help. Going in 4 weeks and trying to get all this stuff figured out!!

Your entire parties tips go into one envelope with each person, server, head server etc. getting a separate envelope. They provide the envelopes and if I remember correctly it has your room number/name on it.

The envelopes don't have your name and number preprinted on them, just who they are for (i.e. Head Server, Assistant Server, etc.). But there is a line where you can write your name.

Hi:wave:
I create my own design on envelopes for the CMs, with clipart and a little imagination you can come up with some cool looking envelopes and you can put your name on them or even a note on the back!

One thing we did was include a note with the tips complimenting the service (it was excellent). Our servers thanked us and told us that the notes would go into their file. They dining room servers get more or less tables/people based on feedback (survey, notes like this, etc.) so we were happy to help them out. More people=more tips. They make a VERY large percentage of their income from tips.
If you feel they were worth it, not only tip them well but let DCL know!
