Points question

I have a question about banking and borrowing points. I have points for AKV and SSR. I am trying to book 2 vacations. Can we borrow next's years SSR points to book a vacation if we still have current AKV points? I want to use AKV points to book (at 11 months) next month. I hope this is not too confusing. Thanks!!

DVCs computer system will not normally allow you to borrow points, if there are points available (assuming you are within the 7 month window for the reservation you are wanting to use the SSR points for.)

Explain your circumstances to Member Services, perhaps they can do a manual override of the system.

Yes, we are within the 7 month window for SSR. I'm going to give it a try.
