Atlantis Excursions

We are doing the 03/03 Wonder 4 day. We would like to visit Atlantis during our Nassau stop, but not sure that any of the Disney listed excursions fit our needs. Basically, our 3 girls, 6, 8 and 10 are big Mary Kate and Ashley fans...and especially loved their movie shot in Atlantis. So we'd like for them to be able to visit the resort and possibly spend some time at the waterslides. Is this possible? Just lying at a beach on the Atlantis grounds really doesn't excite us. Do the packages include access to the Atlantis pool/waterslide areas?

None of the excursions include access to the pools or waterslides. These areas of the resort are open only to guests of the Atlantis resort or the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island. Many families go ahead and book a room at the Comfort Suites... it's a little bit of a walk from the Atlantis resort, but the prices are usually a bit cheaper than a room at the Atlantis.

I assume that if you book a room at either hotel and check in you get some type of wrist band to wear to show you are a paying hotel guest. How many wristbands will they issue you? We have a party of 7 and it sure would be nice if we only had to get one room and we could all access the pools and slides. Anyone know how this works?

HoosierFantasia, from what I understand, when you check in at the Comfort Suites, they give you vouchers which you take over to Atlantis and exchange for wristbands. But they will only give you as many as the room's capacity, so with 7 folks in your party you'd need to rent 2 rooms.
