After 2 months of no computer I am finally back online. cpu fan and hard drive had to be replaced. They also replaced my keyboard. I had to do the restoration and that is still in process. Soon! I have tons to put back in.
Guest Services never did find my annual pass payment I gave them so we decided to wait until 2008 to replace them. Missing Candlelight this year.

Hi Lisa and welcome back.
However, I'm moving this to the disABILITIES Community Board since it will fit better there.

Hey there ! Glad the PC's working again, and sorry to hear about the AP problems. Have you got a credit card bill or bank statement showing the money you paid? That might be the proof they needed to sort things out (with a nice big compensation pressie, of course ;)).

No it was a check and it never went through my account so they lost it before depositing it. Since I personally handed it to the CM at Guest Services in ANimal Kingdom I know it was recieved into their hands but what happened to it after that is anyone's guess. I handed it to the CM on August 25 between 12N and 1pm

I'm sorry, I'm very confused now. Does that mean they didn't cash the cheque? If they did, then surely the payment will show up on a statemnet, and if not, can you cancel the cheque? Or does the American banking system have some quirk that I'm not aware of?
Sorry for being stupid, it's a brain-fog day!

The problem is that while yhou can pay to cancel it with your bank, sometimes it will slip through anyway. This has happened to us several times. Also if it does slip through and it is bounced back Disney could charge us with a bounced check. They did not cash the check. it is still floating out there in Disney oblivian. Hubby says not to write another check for it until it is stale dated 6 months then state law protects us.

Ahhh, with you now! Sorry for my confusion, I thought that they'd already checked it, had your money, but were refusing to give you anything in return. It is still annoying that they have the possibility of getting your money.
