Gosh I'm silly. To Windsor Hills.

OK I see from your other thread you're at Windsor Hills. Not sure it's closest, but I think it's most direct to take a left onto 192 and go down all the way to 27. There's a large Walmart there on the right that generally is not too crowded.
Perhaps gqchicago will chime in with his more precise and definitely more accurate suggestions.

Thanks for your help everyone. The one on the 27 sounds like the one to go to. Is it right on the 27...hard to find?

Hi, we go there occassionally...a little hard to find in that it is back off the highway with a small sign...and a very busy area under lots of construction as of last spring...maybe it is all done now...hope so...
Just after you swing north on 27 (and by the way, do NOT go between 4 and 5:30 PM as the traffic headed north on 27 can get really backed up with folks heading home.
Turn right at the first stop light on 27 just past a big convenience/gas store. My experience is this place is always very busy, but any WalMart in the area will be busy.
If this is for groceries and you don't want the huge crowds and traffic...a lot of us recommend the Publix in Champions Gate for groceries. A little more expensive but much less hassle. From WHills turn right on Old Lake Wilson. Go past Mystic Dunes, Indian Ridge and you will cross over I-4. You will now drive past Reunion, the billion with a "B" dollar developement that is pretty amazing. When you get to the CVS Pharmacy, turn right and it will take you into CG in just over a mile. Publix is just past the huge entrance gate on the right.
Would call this the "scenic route!!"
..enjoy...Ted

We tend to stay halfway between the Walmart on 27 and the Publix at Championsgate and find that whilst the Publix is ok for basics it doesn't have the choice of Walmart. We tend to use Publix the evening we arrive as we have to drive past it and for odd bits on the way back to the villa from the I4 but the Walmart for our big shops during our trip. Just a personal opinion.

I agree that the WalMart on SR 27 is closer - it's about 7 miles from WH, but the WalMart off Osceola which is actually on Vineland (SR 535) is both newer and bigger. The Vineland store is probably about 9 miles from WH.

Thanks everyone. We found the one on the 27. It was really quite easy after reading the directions on here. And very direct. We just turned onto the 27 and then right at the first set of traffic lights and we where there. We've stocked up on groceries (and a few other things we had to get) and now we are off to MK.

All the way from Melbourne to Walmart. :cool1:
You have a choice... the one on US 27 or you could try either of the ones going towards Kissimmee. If you go east towards Kissimmee you will find an intersection with Poinciana Blvd... turn left and there's a new Walmart there.
If you carry straight on for another 2-3 miles you'll find another one on the right behind Medieval Times.
