We just got in. It was a great time, and it was wonderful to see everyone! I don't know what happened to Mickey65, but hopefully one of these times she'll make it to a meet.

Sandra, Bizziebee and I had a great time. In fact we really liked this one the best. It was nice to have a quiet place to talk. My dgrdd had a lot of fun as well. She was telling everyone about your daughter.

Saw on your posts that you once lived in Winnipeg and I see we have a few DISers in Winnipeg. What is a DISmeet although it is probably obvious. I wonder if it might work in Winnipeg.:rolleyes:

Winnipeg DISmeet sounds like fun! Simply post on a new thread that you are interested in a WINNIPEG DISmeet ~ you'll get suggestions on times, dates and places. I have been to three meets, (1) Rainforest Cafe Yorkdale (2) Rainforest Cafe Niagara Falls (3) Shell Info Centre Mississauga. I couldn't make the Toronto Island DISmeet last summer, but I will go to the Paramount Canada's Wonderland DISmeet this summer. I recall London, Ontario had a meet as well about a year ago.

They are a lot of fun. I have been lucky that two of the meets happened just weeks before out WDW vacation. Go ahead ~ POST A WINNIPEG MEET!

PS: I went to Sturgeon Creek Secondary School in St. James. I hung out with folks that worked at the Free Press.
