My wife and I are planning a trip to South Central Louisiana (Morgan City, Lafayette area).
We'll be coming from Pensacola, and will be going through Bay St Louis in order to see how things are progressing in a neighborhood I did some volunteer work in after Katrina.
When we leave BSL, I plan on going through New Orleans, and then on to Morgan City via Hwy 90. We just want to get off the "beaten path" while traveling towards Morgan City.
My question is, would there be any safety concerns traveling on Hwy 90 through the New Orleans area (will be during the day)?
