On our last cruise we used one Credit Card for both my wife and my room cards. We also set it up so the kids could use thier room card to make charges. MISTAKE!
Question 1 - is it possible to use a different credit card for my room card then the credit card used for my wife's room card?
Question 2 - is it possible to allow the kids to use their room cards to make purchases up to a certain total dollar limit?

Perhaps you could buy them a soda mug and a game card at the beginning of the week. Then they wouldn't "need" to buy anything else.

The kids were into buying Disney Pins and tended to go a little overboard with their purchases.

Is it possible to get a daily update on the charges made to a certain room card?

you can go to Guest Serivces each day and they will give you a print out of the room charges. I seem to remmeber it is broken down by room card so that you can see who charges what.

From what i understand, you may put up a cash amount first, so that they have, say, $50 to spend. Is that right?

DS7 was funny and cute but the bill wasn't. Adults were with him when he spent his $$ so it was of no surprise. However, I learned the hard way. DS will NOT have charging privilidges on the Western 2/1/2003. He was always with me. We had soda mugs, as well as his own. And, we did not go to Quarter Masters as that seemed to be a bigger funnel than the one in the mall. I always hated them. Have kids bring their gameboy if they want to play a game. lol
Keep in mind, I would like to give privlidges to DS but it would be more fighting than necessary. Sometimes kids need to just be kids.
