Hi. DD18 has her one wisdom tooth growing in and it seems that her whole mouth is sore. Is there anything that she can take that will ease the pain so she can work all day comfortably?

advil/motrin always work for baby teething pain/adult tooth pain b/c it takes down some of the swelling - that would probably be the best bet.
Hope she feels better soon!!

get her to ask her dentist for Toradol. Its a painkiller they gave me for mine. The nice thing about it is you can function normally after taking it and have all your wits about you but it deals wonderfully with the pain.

Adding a non-medical route. Freezies! Just like frozen teethers for babies they work! And will get her through when she can't take painkillers - driving, trying to do schoolwork etc.

If a wisdom tooth is painful it should be examined by a dentist promptly. If it is both hitting another tooth and painful, it should be extracted promptly.

I agree she should see a dentist, but in the meantime I used to use Baby Orajel for teething! (Don't laugh too hard, it worked)
