Sea Lice

Ok I just read a post about Sea Lice?? What is this? And what is the season for this? And what do people use to avoid getting them? We are sailing November so I was just preparing myself.

You won't be subjected to sea lice in November. Here in South Florida, we see outbreaks of sea lice starting @ April to June-July. There are outbreaks when the cooler water begins to warm in spring.
