if your old appliances still work, you can call the Diabetes Association or Goodwill and they will pick them up for free.

Post an ad on kijiji.ca I've given away a stove and a dryer this way.

Giving it to charity is also a great idea.

You can list them with your local freecycle group.

Check with your town office, in Oakville you can call and schedule a pick up for metal items such as bikes, appliances etc. and it's free of charge. All other items can only be disposed of once a year.
