All I have is a small belly bag and my pin lanyard. The lanyard has the special little ziplock bag at the end to hold tickets, ID, fastpasses, etc. The belly bag has a few compartments, but it's not that large.
So far I have:
Tylenol and assorted other pills
An m&m mini tube packed "quarter, quarter, penny" for the coin press machine
Map of the park (not that we need them anymore :rotfl2: )
Small notebook & pen to write down ADR's, daily plans, and such
Money (in secret zipper pocket)
Extra lime green ribbon (just in case)
cell phone
poncho
small plastic baggie for DH's hearing aids on water rides
carmex
camera
band-aids
I'm running out of room, but I KNOW I'm forgetting something. Help!
(Also, if this thread is supposed to be somewhere else, feel free to point me in the right direction!)

Ohh and gum!!!!! Since they dont have it on property, it is a must for me. We also usually carry some antibacterial hand wash or wipes....

You are permitted to bring food into the parks. If convenience or saving money is important to you, you can pack some snacks, brown bag a lunch, and bring drinks. The only prohibitions are alcohol, glass containers, and hard-sided or rolling coolers.

I was in love with my Band-aid blister block! I also had moleskin, but for some reason it kept getting rubbed off the one area where my sandals were hitting. The blister block ROCKED!

If I am going to be in the park at night, I like to take a small flashlight. (The kind that uses AA batteries.) I have found that the park can be rather dark at night and it is nice to have a way to read a map, etc.

i wouldn't call it a necessity but when were waiting to get on a ride that we dont have fast passes for i always pull out my ipod and listen to that before i get on the ride it always makes time go by faster.

What is the lime green ribbon for??
We do camea, bandaids, water bottles, ponchos (if rain), light jacket or Sweatshirt. My husband has his wallet in his front pocket. Sunglasses, sun screen. Then of course we have a 1.5 year old, that opens a whole other thread! :) Have fun!!

Be careful about keeping your passes etc. on the lanyard. I have heard tales of them getting lost on fast rides. If you do insist on carrying them that way make sure you write down the numbers that are on the back and carry them in a separate spot. Have fun.

To tie around our wrists/bellybags/etc. so other DISers can recognize us!

Lanyards go in the pouch on fast rides! Also, the bag on the bottom actually has a ziplock closing, so it'd probably still be safe!

I always like to take along a comb. I forgot one the first time we went, and lets just say our afternoon/evening photos were not pretty :rotfl: I also take along a few of the Crystal lite individual drink mixes to put in our water bottles just to add some flavor if we happen to get a little tired of drinking just water all day.
Have a great time!!

You guys are SUPER!!! We leave a week from tomorrow and I've been so SWAMPED at work I haven't even begun to think about packing. Thus, I've woken up with nightmares the past two nights about something I forgot (like tickets and my entire suitcase). Your suggestions have added some peace for me today! Thanks again!:cool1:

I am a penny press addict! I love the idea with the M&M tube, thanks for that.

My park first aid kit fits into a snack baggie. For pills, we love contact cases! Basically, we just want a single dose of whatever that will get us back to the resort. But be careful if you mix the pills in the contact cases or pill boxes--the rust ones are ibuprofen, the tiny blue ones are immodium! :rotfl2:
I love my fabric sunglass cords! That prevents me from having to carry sunglasses in the waist pack, plus it means I don't lay them down in a store when I'm looking at something.
And for a flashlight, I bought one of the tiny LED ones on a keychain. I thread the keychain loop through a zipper pull and it can hang there.
Over the summer, I found some single pack sunscreen wipes and picked up a handful. Those work really well for the pack, too.
For moleskin, I usually take a few pieces in different sizes that I've pre-cut--that way I don't have to take scissors or worry about finding someone with some.
Your list looks good!

I would never go to the parks without:
Hairbrush
Suncream
Sunglasses
Normal glasses
Painkillers for backache
Spare hair bobble (in case I lose one on fast ride!)
Water bottle
Lanyard with pouch on for tickets etc (on fast rides I put it inside my shirt and have had no probs with it)
Hat
I sometimes also take a lose shirt to cover up with in the heat of the day, I am a redhead and very fair so I burn in seconds!! A crinkle one is good it just screws up and then doesn't look like a dogs dinner when you wear it.
Enjoy your trip to wdw
