modified my current reservation thru CRO from AAA discount to one with AP Discount (thanks to the DISers that suggested I do this!!!). I went from paying $271.00 with tax per room to $232.00 with tax per room (Poly GV). Even with the purchase of an annual pass I am ahead of what I was paying before! Being the miser that I am, I will still continue to look for a room rate even lower than that! Do you think an even better discount will come out for August?

That's a great rate! There could be better rates that come out later since you have a while. It couldn't hurt to check, especially if you're willing to change resorts. Not that there won't be better rates for the Poly, but increasing your choices increases the chance of a discount.
