View Full Version : Ordering a birthday cake off-site

We are staying at the Marriott Cypress Harbour from Jan. 28-Feb. 4. My daughters 7th birthday is Jan. 29 and I wanted to find a local grocery store to make her a cake (we aren't eating TS that day so won't have one at the parks). We won't have time to order a cake once we're there so I'm hoping they might let me phone in an order (crossing my fingers). Anyways, the question is:
What stores are around our resort? And the big question - are their cakes any good?

Publix has great cakes, and they'll probably let you phone in the order. I'm not sure what one is closest to your resort, but they are all over the place down here, so there should be one within a five minute drive or so.

We get cakes from here all the time. They are great. We are always celebrating something when we are down. We travel always in large groups. Generally 10-14 of us so there is a lot of partying going on.

They have the best cakes and are so resonably priced. Instead of getting dessert when out to dinner we get a cake every couple of days and come home and have a peice of what ever confection we have purchased.

I got a birthday cake from walmart bakery that was already made in freezer section and had them add his name. Worked out great. They have themed cakes as well.

Oh wow, it even has a bakery section where I can browse for the cakes before ordering. Thank you so much for the link!
