I went to Michael's this morning to get the cricut for my daughter for Christmas - they had nine and were gone by the time I got in the store - at 5:55 am. They had opened a few minutes early and only had nine. So we went to Wal-mart just in case. They had a bunch and I bought two, one for her, one for me. I have a bit of buyer's remorse as dh still isn't working and dd's getting married but I'm figuring out ways to justify the purchase.
So this is me, doing my happy dance:yay: :yay: :yay:
Once you open it up, you'll forget about the buyer's remorse! Every once in a while, you just have to treat yourself too!
That'll be a great Christmas present for your DD.
I bought a Cricut back in April, and love it. If I didn't already have one, I would've been to either WalMart or Micheals. That is the only thing I would have gotten out of a nice warm bed for.

I was totally sick to my stomach the day I bought my Cricut back in May. I even let it sit in the box for 3 weeks because I was feeling bad about the money and because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to figure out how to use it. Six months later, I can't imagine life without my little bug.....AND I have a rain check for a big bug when they come in at ACM.
I hope you enjoy it! I really love mine and it was worth every penny.

Welcome to the club! I completly understand the buyer's remorse, but I think you will love it once you start to use it. Just watch yourself on the cartridge addiction - that's when the big money starts to be spent!

I've already started playing. I was so excited to have the tags on George and I'm using George to make my dds shower card. This is fun! I almost bought another cartridge this morning but thought I was pushing my luck.

Santa surprised me early with the Cricut package. He went to Michaels and shimmied his way through all those women to find one for me. My neighbor is coming over tonight to play "Cricut" with me. :)
I am so excited to be joining the club!! :thumbsup2

Welcome to the club... :)
You will have so much fun.. Heck, I had buyer's remorse while she was ringing it up... DH had to pay for it..because I was talking myself out of it.. DH said I so would have been complaining now if I hadn't bought it than... I use my bug daily... poor little guy gets excited when he gets a day off because kids' activities are in the way... He has been on a break all day today.. I'll have to warm him up after dinner tonight!!!! Lots of Christmas projects to finish up... especially DH's gift...

LOL Nancy
You sound like me, I had such buyers guilt when I bought the expression, but I love it!!! There are days when I have 2 bugs going at once. It's a sorry sight too, the expression is on the kitchen floor running and the baby bug is on the stove.

:welcome: to the club!! You will love it! I had buyers remorse on my baby bug because I bought it, but my Expression was bought by my dear family for my birthday.

I'm loving my cricut:cloud9: Right now, I'm practicing and playing and I have all these random shapes and letters all over my table but I did use it to make my dds shower card. I also made some Christmas tags. This is so cool! I've already looked at the other cartridges on the cricut site but no more purchases until after the wedding. Thanks to all you enablers!
