Reminded me to wait for Prince Charming and allow myself to live happily ever after...no settling.
Spoiler: Though I got the point of the movie...I def kinda wished she ended up with Prince Edward. :rotfl2: He was just clueless like she was at the beginning, not SO bad like I think Patrick Dempsey's character makes him look in comparison.
The Disney references we PERFECT and subtle.
My parents joked that I was prolly the only one in the theatre who understood the movie because of all the references. I told them no, it was perfectly fine on its own, but I def think I may have appreciated all the work and creativity and subtly that went into it more than other people.
I really thought it was clever when she gets out of the bath and she allows Robert to come in b/c the birds cover her up with the towel! That is straight out of some Disney movie...I just can't remember which one! I thought it was Cinderella but I watched Cinderella last night...and it wasn't there?
Anyways, chat away about Enchanted.

I saw it last night! OMG, it was amazing! I loved all of the Disney references, they made me so happy. It was such a "Disney fans unite!" movie. Amy Adams was incredible as Princess Giselle. She had the classic fairy tale princess gestures and tone of voice down pat. And James Marsden as Prince Edward was hysterical! I loved when his step mother was like, "Edward, you're being so melodramatic!" And he goes, "Well, I don't know what melodramatic means...but anyway!" or something like that. My mom and loved how Idina Menzel got a really nice part. She was great in it, I was so excited to see her in another movie. Anyways, it was just a very sweet flim, and I totally recommend it :)

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this movie!!
My DD6 and I went alone to see it. She loved it too. It is a PERFECT Mommy Daughter movie.
Don't tell anyone, but I actually cried a few times!!
I agree w/ PP.. Amy Adams had the princess role down to a science!!
I found myself wondering if she was ever a princess at WDW!!
Has anyone researched her history????

The movie was great!!! I think the actors/actresses all had their character down to a science. It was a great movie, with subtle disney movie hints, I was always laughing. The music mas great too, classic Disney.

No it's from Cinderella. And she allowed Rob to come in not because the birds cover her up, but because they don't have sexual weirdness in Andalasia.

I honestly didn't think it would be that good, but it really was a good movie! It made it all better when Idina Menzel came into the picture. And Patrick Dempsey was wonderful as a father; it was so sweet!

I saw it a couple days ago. It was pretty funny but not as funny as I thought it would be. But then again I do have a bad habit by over expecting things.
