Hi all! It's been a couple of months since we got back from our trip and I'm just now getting around to writing our trip report. I've been extremely busy these past few months and just haven't felt like sitting down and writing this.
If you wanna know all the details here is a link to my pre-trip report...
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1523767
(Hope I did that right!) :lmao:
If you don't feel like heading over there let me give a brief summary:
We went from Sep 16-23. :wizard: We stayed at Wilderness Lodge-Conceirge Level. :wizard: Me (Lori), my 2 kiddos (Lindsey & DR), and my dad (aka-Pappy) went on this little adventure. :wizard:
I gotta say this...we had a great time! We loved our room! We enjoyed all of our ADR's! Enjoyed the rides! And the best was seeing my kiddos and the way they lit up with each new thing.
I'm gonna try and get my first post done while the kids are watching The Incredibles. Keep your fingers crossed that it can be done! :)

I had finally gotten everything packed, car packed, and everyone asleep. I went to bed around midnight and actually slept pretty well. Our flight left around 10 in the morning, but would have to be up by 5:30 and out the door by 6:30.
So, 5:30 comes, the alarm goes off and I'm up out of bed. I get dressed and finish a few last minute things. I then wake DR up. He's the easy one. All you have to do is mention 'food' to him and he's up asking what is for breakfast. popcorn:: My little princess on the other hand...she is Sleeping Beauty all the way! But, with the mention of going to Disney she was up in a flash and ready to get dressed...with NO whining!!! ;)
We were on the road by 6:45 and made it to the airport by 8:00. The closer we got the more and more excited I got! And this was only for an airpane ride.
Anyways, my brother drops us off at the curb, we get everything out and make our way into the airport, the ticket counter, and through security.

(Don't they look so excited to be up this early?!?!)
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071002-1.jpg
We stopped at McD's for a quick breakfast and then headed for our gate. No matter what airline I fly I always end up at a gate at the very end. Don't ask me why? And this time was no different! Pittsburgh has those moving sidewalks and DR found them just amazing. He's never been on one before and loved walking on it. People behind us weren't very happy though. :headache:
We make it to the gate and try to keep the kids occupied. I normally look around and see how many other kids are flying with us. Most of the time it's just mine or a few other little ones. This time...we had a flight full! It always makes me feel a little better that if mine throw a hissy fit they won't be bothering to many other people because half the flight were kids.

(DR watching the plane)
We board the plane on time and take off on time. It was a pretty uneventful flight. The kids were good and kept occupied with the things I had put in their backpacks. DR and I were in the second row and Lindsey and my dad were behind us. There was another family sitting in front of us with 2 little girls and they were heading to Disney. DR was kept entertained by them and also by looking back at his sissy.

We landed a little after noon and made our way to the ME counter. We had absolutely no problems finding it and my dad got into the long, but quick moving line.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071007.jpg
(Pappy waiting in the ME line)
I think he was in line for about 10 minutes, then we moved over to the resort lines and stood for about another 10. It seems like it took forever though. But we were just wanting to get to the resort, check in and get something to eat! Of course my dad complained and I was ready to tape his mouth shut when they told us what bus to head to. Thank Goodness!!! :headache:
Once on the bus we waited about another 5 minutes before we started on our way. Lindsey was bouncing off the wall by this time and just wanted to get a move on! DR was getting cranky because he hadn't had a nap yet, nor his bottle, and I think wanted to get a move on as well. Heck, I was wanting the same thing!!! :rolleyes1

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071010.jpg
Me and DR...happy to be moving! :)
But, once we got going and the movie on the bus started...DR fell asleep and Lindsey settled. It was so much fun to see everything! We had been in March (the kids, soon to be ex DH and I) but mostly stayed on International Drive (or whatever it's called) and it was fun to go into Disney a different way.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071012.jpg
No mom...no more pics!! :confused3
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071013.jpg
About 2 minutes later...
So, we stopped at the Polynesian first. Next came the Grand Floridian. (I think? It may have been the other way around? ) Our stop was next and once we got off they still had the Contemporary to do. I didn't care though! We were in Disney and at our BEAUTIFUL hotel!!! :woohoo:
OK...enough for now. The Incedibles are over and I can hear my kids fighting with each other as I type. DR is letting off his banchee screech which usually means his sister is torturing him.

11-22-2007, 11:13 PM
OK, I left off with us taking the ME bus and just arriving at Wilderness Lodge. What a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Inside and out! The kids loved it here.
So, we get our bags and head inside to check in. It was about 1:15, and I was so hoping our room would be ready! We waited in a 5 minute line and then get sent up to 7th floor. They finish the check in, hand us our room keys, gave us their whole speil (sp?) and gave us a little tour of the floor. Our room wasn't ready yet so we grabbed a quick snack and then took a taxi over to the Boardwalk to see if we could catch the Steelers game at the ESPN Zone.
By now it was 2PM. We find the ESPN Zone on the boardwalk but the line was out the door with a 45 minute wait. :sad2: Forget this...let's see what else we can find! So we looked at the other options we had and nothing seemed to appeal to us so we went back to the hotel. :sad2: Of course the entire time my dad is complaing. :headache: All Disney wants is to take your moeny and then who cares how long the line is, how good the food is and on and on and on. :headache:
We decided to take a bus back to the resort. We hopped on the first one that came along to Blizard Beach. Got off there and waited about 10 minutes before a Wilderness Lodge one came along.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071016.jpg
I love this one of my son...his face just says it all.
It was after 4PM by the time we got back. I called the reservation number to see if our room was ready (It was!! Woo Hoo!!! ) and then headed for Roaring Forks for lunch/dinner...whatever. We did have an ADR at Mama Melrose's that night for Fantasmic but cancelled it. Way too much to do on the first day for us!
Once food was in my father's stomach and he knew the room was ready he was a happy camper. The kids were getting a little crazy at this point as well and both needed a little down time.
Sorry no food porn here. But our meals were:
Pappy - Grilled Chicken Salad
Me - Chicken Strips and fries
Kids - PB&J w/ grapes and applesauce
We enjoyed EVERYHTING! My dad's salad was HUGE! My chicken was good and the kids actually ate all the PB&J.
So, we ate our lunch/dinner and headed up to the room...7044. We took the main elevators and started following the signs to our room. As we were walking I was kind of disappointed. I noticed that the even numbers were to our left and odd was on the the right, so we didn't have a room facing the pool. :( We were all the way down at the end...I think the second to last room.
We open our door and inspect the room. It was so pretty and those beds were just beautiful. We had a towel Mickey on the bed but the kids destoryed it before I could get a picture.

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071028.jpg
And then we headed for our balcony. Let's just see what kind of view we had...
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071026.jpg
Liked this since it was enclosed and the kids couldn't get in the rails but it scared the crap outta me when the climbed on the chairs and table to look over. :scared1:

Astro Orbitor!!! :wizard:
:wizard: We had a Magic Kingdom view!!! :wizard:
I was so excited over this! The pics I took with my camera and camcorder just do not do it justice. It looked so much better in person. The monorail passed right by us as well, which the kids loved! It was so nice to wake up every morning and see the castle and go to bed each night look at the castle all lit up. :woohoo: To me that is DISNEY...the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella's Castle.
So, we get settled in our room. I get the kids changed and down for a short nap. My dad is a cigar smoker so he headed out to find a place to smoke one. I unpacked, got things organized (how is it that you can have kids in a room for 5 minutes and they already have it destroyed?) and changed myself.
It started raining at one point and my dad made his way back up to the room. This woke the kids up and we made a plan to head to DTD once the rain stopped.
OK...that's it for me tonight. Until next time...

After about an hour the rain died down and we decided to head to DTD. By now the kids were definately bouncing off the walls and just wanted to get going and see some Disney magic!
So, we make our way down to the buses. Probably had a 5-10 minute wait and got on a completely deserted bus. The trip there was unevenful and the kids enjoyed jumping around on the seats. :headache:

Linds and I
So, we make it there and decide to walk around some just taking the sites in. Since we had cancelled our ADR's we needed to find something. We looked into the Rainforest Cafe but said forget it! So, we kept walking through The Market Place, into Pleasure Island and all the way down to the Cirque tent.

My dad found a cigar shop and did a little shopping in there. DR fell asleep in the stroller by this point and Linds was complaining it was HOT! The air coming out of the shops just made you want to go in.

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071039.jpg
It started raining again so we stopped at the first place we found to eat which was Cookes of Dublin.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071040.jpg
My dad and I both got fish and chips. We both enjoyed it...the fries are really different. Linds I think got fried shrimp. She picked all the breading off and just ate the shrimp. DR was still sound asleep. The only thing we didn't like was hardly any inside seating. We got shoved back in a corner but oh well! At least we weren't out in the rain.
After our late dinner we went back through the Marketplace and headed for the bus stop. We stopped by the squirting Stich so Linds could doge his sprays. DR was awake by now but not a happy camper and wanted NOTHING to do with it!!

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071044.jpg
We got back to the hotel around 9:30, stopped at the conceirge lounge for a snack and then headed back to the room for bed. Linds wanted to go swimming but it had started to rain again and I had to say no. Plus, we had to get up early the next morning.
So, by 10:30 our wake up call was set and we were sound asleep dreaming of the castle that was outside window and what woule happen in Epcot the next day.

Oh I know...wasn't it?!?! LOL He would get so mad too if we didn't! The sad thing is, he would get mad if me or my dad didn't hold it, but then would climb all over the seats. UGH!

We were up early this morning. I think we had a wake up call at 6:30 and my dad answered. It was very short and he slammed the phone back down. LOL I'm sure he was thinking WTH was that??
Ayways, he got up and got in the shower while the kids and I slept a little more. About 15 minutes later I get up and get ready then wake DR up. Once again he's the easy one. You mention food and that kid is UP!! Little Sleeping Beauty though...forget it! It was too early for her.
I let my dad know that we had to get there for opening and then had to make our way to Soarin' as our first ride. I didn't care what we did the rest of the day, but Soarin' was to be first.
So, he goes down for his morning cigar (YUCK!) and the kids and I finish getting ready and then head to the lounge for breakfast. I would get the kids their first and then sit them down in the kiddie section watching TV while I then went back for mine. We would do this every morning. It was never crowded and my kids always sat in the same spot. The LOVED it!

View of the Grand Floridian. We would see this and the Poly while walking to our room.
So, anyways...we eat our breakfast, pappy comes to join us, and then make our way down to the bus stop. We didn't have to wait long until the bus came and we were on our way. The bus wasn't crowded at all and we all seemed to be in good spirits! We're in DISNY after all!
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071052.jpg
We make our way off the bus and to the gates. I took the bags through security while my dad went with the stroller and kids through the no bag entry. That worked really well for us!
The actual ticket gates weren't open yet, so we got in line and had maybe a 10 minute wait. I couldn't beleive we were actually EARLY!!!! They finally let us in and we make our way over to the rope on the Soarin' side. We were probably about 3 rows of people deep. Goofy was there entertaining our side of crowd and the kids were in awe. They had the countdown and the race was on to Soarin'!

OMG this was wonderful to walk into! They had CM's all lined up along the way clapping and pointing which way to go. It was so much fun! I still get teary eyed today just thinking about it. LOL
I told my dad for Linds and him to get on it first and then I would go on with Linds next. I got my child swap pass and DR and I kind of walked around looking at things. I got him a Mickey rice crispy head to eat.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071055.jpg
They must have been on the second ride of the day. Lindsey came out and was so freakin' HAPPY!!! She LOVED it and was talking a mile a minute. I asked if she wanted to go again and sure enough she did! LOL So, with much whining from DR, Linds and I head in to Soar over California.
OMG...was this good!! Soon to be ex DH and I have been to Disneyland and California Adventure a few times. The last time we went to CA they had just built this but Lindsey was a little over 1 and he didn't want to wait in the line to ride it and do it as a single rider. I would have LOVED to, but then I would have had to listen to him complain about the baby and me leaving him with her. (Yeah...this is one reason he'll be an ex. LOL)
Linds and I finish and head outside to find Pappy and DR. My dad was on the phone with my mom and DR was running around. My dad said he and DR went on Living with the Land while we were on the ride and that DR had liked it. They both really liked the pumpkins.
We had passed Circle of Life while we were walking out and Lindsey said she wanted to do it. Hey, I had gotten to ride Soarin' and that was all that mattered to me. :) We walk in to the waiting area and had about a 5 minute wait until we were in the theater. Now, while this was cute and educational it was also BORING!!! This will definately something we will be skipping in the future.
Next we decided to go see Nemo and his friends. What a CUTE ride!!! Linds went with my dad and DR with me. The turtle scene was so neat! DR just sat mesmerized through the whole thing. LOL

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071061.jpg
DR had a little problem with waiting. He's a typical 2 year old and just couldn't understand why we had lines to wait in! LOL It wasn't too bad this day but the next at the MK...it was BAD! :headache:
After Finding Nemo we walked out and the Crush show was right there. It looked like a show was about to start so we got in line. Well we were 2 people away and missed it. :( Once they were in the theater they let us in the waiting area to have a look around. My kids were every where! Good thing my dad was there. He could go with Lindsey and I could go with DR.

What a CUTE show! My dad went into this knowing nothing. I let him know what was going on and he really liked it. From here it was about 11:30 so we decided to do lunch and made our way over to Sunshine Seasons.
It was a little crowded but not too bad. I forgot what we all had gotten by now. I know I had from the Chinese station and it was really good!!! I ate everything on my plate! LOL
After lunch, it was about 12:15, and we decided to head back to the hotel for a rest...
I gotta run right now. We have people coming over tonight for 'Light Up Night.' Picture Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation and that's our house tonight! LOL So, I need to get some cleaning done and the kiddos are done with breakfast and running around wild. They sooooooooo need to pick up their toys and I gotta get on them about that. :laundy:

I had typed this up last night but then something happened on AOL and I had to exit out of it without getting a chance to save...UGH!!! :headache: So, here it is today!
I last left off with us eating lunch at Sunshine Seasons and heading back to the resort. Well, we were walking past the Character Connection window and saw all the classic characters there and the kids started begging to go. I thought it didn't look that busy why not. Well, looks can be deceiving. 45 minute wait!!!
Oh well! We have the time, let's just see how the kids do and if they get restless we'll go. My kids did better waiting in this 45 minute line with nothing to do than in a 5 minute line a Winnie the Pooh.
But, the wait was well worth it just to see their little faces and reactions to the characters. Here are some pics...

It really wasn't all that bad of a wait and the kids did so well through it all...SUPRISED me! LOL Plus, just to see the reactions was great! My dad even enjoyed it. :goodvibes
So, by now it was 1:30 and we were finally heading back to the hotel for a rest.

We made it out to buses and back to the resort no problem. As we walked into the room we found this waiting for us...
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071080.jpg
I had the kids still in the stoller and I told them not to move until I took a pic of it. I think about 2 minutes later it was ripped apart. :sad2:
The kids and I took a quick nap while Pappy headed for the pool and a cigar break. We left around 4:00 and headed back over to Epcot for our ADR's in Norway at 6:10.
We got to the park around 4:30 and decided to ride Journey into Imagination. What a cute ride and the kids liked it! I remeber Figment from when I was little, so this was cute for the kids to see.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071082.jpg
Afterwards the kids played some in the area they have there and we e-mailed pics back home. I sent mine to me and never did get it. I'm guessing it went to my spam folder and I deleted it. :guilty:
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071083.jpg
They LOVED these things!!!
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071084.jpg
After this we decided to head over to the World Showcase and see what we could find. It was about 5:30 at this point and figured maybe we could see if we could get into Norway early.

Everything is so pretty here!!!
We stopped at Akershus to see if we could check in early but no such luck. Malestrom was there with a 10 minute so we decided to take a ride with the Norwegien.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071092.jpg
By the time we got done with the ride the place was packed with people outside Akershus!!! What the heck happened?!?! Oh well! We made our way through the crowd and gave our name. I think we maybe had to wait about 5 minutes before they called our name and we went in.

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071090.jpg
Now, Lindsey was in princess heaven!!! :cloud9: Our first princess encounter was Ariel.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071094.jpg
We had our pic taken with her and then were seated. As we were sitting down Lindsey asked me where Ariel's tail was. :rotfl: Our server stopped by, took our drink orders and told us we could hit the cold buffet whenever we wanted. She came back after we did that and took our orders.
The timing was perfect here! From the food to the character visits. It was a really enjoyable dinner and Lindsey was on :cloud9: . Well, DR was too. Lindsey had on a princess dress from the Disney Store and had to point our each princess to them. LOL She was too cute and just in awe!

Dinner was over for us by 7:30 and we headed out. I had really wanted to stay for Illuminations, but my dad had other plans. Oh well, it was probably better that we didn't.

We got back on the bus and headed back to the resort. It was still early so I took the kids down to the pool and we did some swimming. It felt so relaxing after all the walking we did today. Afterwards I put the kids in the tub, grabbed a quick snack for them and we all went to bed.
Up next...Magic Kingdom! :)

I have tried starting this all week but have gotten interupted so many times. Kids...gotta love them!! LOL So, onto Day 3
Once again we were up early. My dad was up first, hit the shower and DR and I were up next. I got him ready and then attempted to wake the beast...I mean Sleeping Beauty. My dad was ready and getting ready to go down and smoke a cigar when he decided to take DR with him. With the hearing of this Lindsey of course sprang into action and immediately wanted to get dressed and ready. Sorry sweetheart you missed that boat 20 minutes ago.
So, I finished getting her and myself ready. Of course we had many tears from Lindsey and I had to hear what a horrible mother I am. I swear if I could have left her little butt in the room all day I would have.
Once my dad and DR got back to the room I sent them down to get breakfast while Linds and I still stayed in the room for her time out. After about 20 minutes they were back and we were out the door for the Magic Kingdom.
I grabbed something quick from the lounge for Lindsey to eat in the stroller as we walked down to the boat dock. She was in a better mood and had stopped th whining. I was just praying she wouldn't be like this the rest of the day!
We didn't have that long of a wait for the boat and I don't think we had to stop at Fort Wilderness. :confused3 Either way...I was just happy to be heading there with no whining!!!
The kids thought the boat was cool and enjoyed the ride and the sights. DR liked the construction cranes at CR. LOL

They get the boat docked, we get through bag check point and the gates and kind of wait around the train station for the opening ceremony. I love to see this one and I get tears in my eyes each time. I love seeing my kids faces when they hear the music start playing and the train is pulling into the station. :cloud9: We only had about a 10 minute wait so it wasn't too bad.
I was suprised to see the Magic Kingdom decorated for fall...but LOVED it! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year and they had everything looking so nicely. My dad was wondering where he could get swags like that to hang on our house. LOL

After the countdown ended we made out way under the tunnel, down Main Street and into Fantasyland to ride none other than...DUMBO!!!
We of course were not the first ones on, or even in the first batch, but were the third ride of the day. Not bad and I was happy with that, along with the kids. :)

My dad saw there was no line at Snow White so we headed over to that one. The car we rode on was Grumpy...I thought how appropriate for the day we've had so far! We were in line and Lindsey started saying she had to potty. We were the very next people in line so she stopped the whining and gladly got on. DR was in a grumpy mood because he of course hated the lines and couldn't understand why we had to be in them. LOL Can you see why Grumpy was appropiate for us?!?!?

So, I left off with us heading out of Fantasyland and making our way into Liberty Square to ride the Haunted Mansion. Lindsey was begging to do this and we were able to walk right on.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071273.jpg
Of course as soon as we get into the shrinking (wait...it's growing isn't it?) room Linds starts to freak out, which makes her brother freak out. But, we get them clamed down and move on tot he doom buggys. Linds goes with my dad and DR is with me.
Now, when we rode this in March, DR was with me and enjoyed riding it until we broke down and were stuck in the dining room scene. As the minutes went on he kepts shrinking back in his seat more and more.
So, fast foward today. He's doing really well, taking everything all in, and just happily sitting next to me. We make it past the dining room scene and I breathe a sigh of relief that we passed it without stopping.
We get to the scene of the graveyard and as we are going through it I thought to myself now this would freak any kid out if we got stuck in here. Well, what do you know??? We STOP!!! :scared1: DR was NOT happy with this at all! We sat there for about 5 minutes, moved about 2 feet and then stopped again for 5 minutes.
My kids were so happy to get off of that ride and Lindsey claimed she NEVER wanted to go on it again!! (Too bad that's all she talks about now and when we go next December it's the first things she wants to ride! )
So, we walk a little bit and see that the Country Bear Jamboree is about to start a show so we head on in to that. A kid friendly show is just what my kids needed! :)

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071276.jpg
Such a cute show! DR loved the moose up on the wall and got a big kick out of that! :)
Next we head into Frontierland to see if Lindsey wanted to do Splash Mountain or BTRR. I let her watch Splash for a few minutes and she then declared that she wanted to do that. I aksed are you sure or is this one of those 'oh I'm going to do it until I actually get on the ride' type sayings. No mom...I'm SURE I want to do this one!!!
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071277.jpg
OK...if you say so! So her and pappy head to the 15 minute standby line. DR and I did a little shopping while we waited, got a snack and then headed over to see if we could find them on the ride.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071278.jpg
She ACTUALLY did it!!! The pic above was their raft. I didn't get a good one of them coming down, but I got this afterwards. It's still not very good. But Lindsey and Pappy were in the back row and I think you can see Lindsey shoulder and head? Either way...that's them! :rotfl:
DR and I make our way over to the exit and wait for them. Lindsey comes off and is all smiles. :goodvibes They didn't get much on them but Lindsey's seat must have been wet beacuse the whole back of her skirt was soaked. LOL
I then asked her if she wanted to try BTMRR. I got another SURE and on we went in a 20 minute standby line.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071293.jpg
This is another one she absolutely LOVED!!! I am so proud of her for doing these two rides. :)
As we exited I almost walked right past my child and dad. LOL I hardly recogonized him with his cute little Winnie the Pooh hat he had on! I wish I hatten a pic of him. I'll have to go through them all again and see if I do.
It was about 11:30 by this time so we decided to head to Peco's Bill for lunch and then head back to the resort for a rest.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/blueyedangel1207/Disney%202007/Disney20071294.jpg
Lunch was pretty good here. We found a table in the back and enjoyed people watching and eating.
We made our way out of the park and to the boat dock. We had to stop at Fort Wilderness first, but had an enjoyable ride back.

Day 3 – Part 3 – Magic Kingdom
We got back to the hotel and my dad decided to take Linds to the beach area and play for a bit while I took DR up to the room for a nap. Well, that lasted about 20 minutes before he wanted to have nothing to do with it and we headed down to the beach area as well.
He and I stopped in for a quick snack at Roaring Forks and then made our way to the play area. Both of the kids had a nice time playing in the sand and on the play set. Another couple and their kids came and sat down close to us and their kids played with mine. The mom and I talked about our Disney trips and how things were going so far for us. She said that they had a personal tour guide taking them around the parks. For a minute I was a little jealous, but you know what, after I thought about it I was doing pretty good with ours. I had joined TGM before I left, used a combination of his tour plans and the one from the Unoffical Guide (or whatever it’s called) and we have not had to wait in a line yet and I was happy with everything that had happened so far. Plus…I was paying out a ton of money for it! ;)
OK, back to the story…the other couple left and I decided to get mine up to the room too. I needed to throw them in the tub because they had sand everywhere and I needed to get ready for dinner as well.
Our ADR’s were at the castle for 5:45. We left the hotel around 4:00 and made it to the park by 4:30. As we were walking onto Main Street the Family Fun Parade was there and doing their things. It was cute and looks like the families in it had fun!

We had some time to kill before our ADR so we headed to PoC. There was maybe a 5 minute wait and we were on our boat and heading on our voyage. Lindsey was scared at first but once she saw the pics and kitties she picked her head up from my lap and we rode on. DR of course was amazed by it all.

After Pilharmagic it was time for our ADR at the castle. We headed over there, checked in and had to wait outside for about 10 minutes before we were able to go in and see Cinderella. Lindsey of course was on cloud nine since we were eating here!
(Sidenote: I wasn’t really looking forward to using 4 TS credits for me and 2 for Lindsey, but to see my child’s happiness and see in her eyes that dreams can come true, it made ti a little easier to swallow).

Dinner here was pretty good. Well, mine was and the kids were, my dad wasn’t thrilled with his and liked the Norway one better. But, he enjoyed seeing the kids being happy and he liked the atmosphere. The kids saw the 2 nice and Fairy Godmother and enjoyed themselves. (I think next time though we’ll do the dinner at Grand Floridian).

After dinner was over we decided to head back to the hotel and watch the fireworks from our balcony and do some night swimming.
After a quick snack in the lounge it was time for bed. We were going to MGM the next day but were able to sleep in some since we really weren’t going to be doing the big rides.

Another way to get over your jealousy is to look at how much it costs. I just looked it up and it is about $85 per hour. Hmmm, that would add up very quickly!
