lab vs teen

We are cruising in June with my twins(12) and cousins 14 &15. I understand that I MAY be able to put the twins in the teen group since their birthday is close to cruise date (space permitting), but if I am able to do this, will the twins also be able to sign up for the Lab to do the activities that interest them?

I'm 15, and will be going on my second Disney Cruise on April 21st-25th. I was 13 on my first Disney Cruise, and was involved in the teen things. I had a lot of fun, but I'm also mature for my age. I think your 12 years olds will have more fun in the Lab.
