I was just wondering is july 9 2002 value season or or something else when it comes to rates

Value season can vary from resort to resort. If you checkout disneyworld.com and go to the resorts section, you can choose any resort you want and the seasons are listed.

I checked over there and it appears that this is regular season at most if not all resorts

Value season starts July 4th at several of the deluxe resorts: YC, BC, BWI, Poly, CR, some home away from homes, and I think GF.

This would not be value season for the value or moderate resorts, or WL, or AKL. They follow a different calendar.:)
