Hi!

I have read and seen a few places for other DVC resorts, that when staying in a studio, a laundry room is provided at no charge. I haven't seen anything about this for studios at VWL. Does anyone know if this is available there?

Thanks,
Karen

Yes, the WLV have a laundry room and it is no charge for guests staying at the WLV.
It is on the 1st floor. If you come into the main door, go past the little reception desk to the elevators and go down the hall on the left of the elevators you will see the laundry facilities about halfway down the hall.
They do have machines with soap and softener for $1.00 each, but I brought the wisk tablets and some dryer sheets from home.
It was quite a suprise to me, I had all my quarters ready to do laundry. Peggie

Thanks Peggy, I can picture just about where you described!!! It is such a nice "extra" to be able to have clean clothes at no charge!!

We had a fabulous trip in January and stayed the first 4 nights in a studio, then 6 nights in a 2 bedroom. I was very disappointed that the laundry room only had 2 washing machines! I was able to one afternoon get one washer, but I had a couple of loads to do. I ended up washing one load and saved the rest until we got in our 2 bedroom. I think next time we stay in a studio I will not count on doing laundry and pack accordingly.

Anyone else surprised at the amount of washers for the entire Villas?

I agree. I would rather see more washers and dryers and I wouldn't mind having to pay to use them. Because it doesn't do me much good to have them "available for free" if they are never available. It's just my husband and myself, so often we stay in studios. We wait and stay in the 1BR and up when we take guests.
