Can't decide between the Sports or Music (Movies is not available) for my upcoming vacation. Have stayed at Music once before (several years ago) and have never stayed at Sports. Which would you choose???

Is the Sports or Music as nice as the Movies? As clean? What about the rooms? I know that the Movies is fairly new. Are the rooms at the Sports/Music looking run down due to age? What about the foodcourt? The food at the Movies was great. How is it at Sports/Music? :jester:

Wish I could help more. Did you try reading some of the info at wdwig.com (http://www.wdwig.com/faq_hot.htm). It has FAQ and guests comments for ASMu and ASSp.

Good luck!

There's only one reason I can think of one being better than the other. During slow times when they run one bus to service all three AS properties, Sports gets picked up and dropped off first. It can mean the difference between getting a seat and not getting a seat.

I stayed at ASMu, it was fine. No problems at all. The room was clean, and the resort overall was in good shape. Haven't ever stayed at Sports (or Movies).

I have stayed at Sports, but not Music. As far as I know, they are pretty much identical, except Sports is picked up first (and theming obviously). The only advice I can think of is what is a bigger interest to your family? Sports or music? In my opinion, I think Sports is better themed so it got my vote.

I picked sports because my DS11 loves it there. When we were there last summer, I really wanted to stay at Movies but it was booked so we picked Sports. Boy was I glad we did. Our room was on the third floor of the first Surf's Up building facing the pool; close to everything!

The three resorts are close enough for you to walk over and tour Music and Movies.

IMO the best thing about staying at Sports was being picked up first when the resorts used the same bus. There were several mornings when the bus reached Movies there were'nt any seats left.

The food court has a vast selection of food. We didn't eat there often, but the few meals we had were great. They had everything from your typical fast food items to very healthy selections.

Room and grounds were very clean. CM's very helpful and friendly.

My son and I are returning for 2 weeks this Christmas.:bounce:

Thanks for all your inputs!!! Can anyone tell me which buildings at Music are NO-SMOKING buildings?? This is a big issue for me and want to make sure I don't get put into one. I requested a non-smoking room, so hopefully that will help.

I ALWAYS Stay at Sports!:D It is the first on the "bus" line and I liked being Picked Up first and Dropped of first! Building 1 at Sports has Smoking rooms on the 3rd and 2nd floor, so make sure if you want that building ask for a NON-Smoking room!
