My DD needs recipe help!!

I don't cook well but DD loves to... She is making Paula Deen's Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake for tomorrow and wondered if she could mix the ingredients tonight and bake it tomorrow...:confused3 Does anyone know if this is possible? It is pumpkin, eggs, powdered sugar, spices and butter. She is making 2 desserts and wants to save time tomorrow morning. Thanks!!!

Big Thanks to Jan and her DD! I read your post a few days ago, but was not familar with the recipe. I did a search and it sounded good! I made it for a neighborhood Thanksgiving that we went to on Saturday. It was the HIT of the party! People really, really liked it:woohoo: So, thanks to you!

Did she make it ahead? I probably wouldn't. Not sure how it would all stand up.

We decided not to do it ahead, since it was the first time making it. I probably wouldn't make it ahead because it was perfect!!! Em was so excited the recipe was the hit of the meal! We definitely have a new staple at Thanksgiving!:thumbsup2
