I saw that was new next year. I'm glad that works out for you guys. I'll still go to Manchester in May, but keep me updated on your plans. I turn 30 :scared1: on the 5th, so I'm thinking of taking a week's vacation then to mentally prepare/hide under the covers as the case may be.

Since they say age is a state of mind, and I do believe that, my age is 60 for another week but my state of mind is wherever I am at the moment!! Had my daughters in my 30's, so they are young as am I!:thumbsup2

there is a marriot that is connected to the convention center in hartford. i was there last week and i work down the street. its nice and only been open for about 3 years

I was there for a CM convention right after it opened. The space is wonderful!!! The classrooms are spacious and the main rooms are huge!

I can't wait, I think I might just stay over and go to the crops too. I'll have to talk to DH.

With so many of us planning to go, we should set up a meet n greet for all of us. It would be so nice to finally put a face to all these names. As the time draws near, let's see what we can organize. I could be persuaded to take a day off from school to do the Friday classes. No need to twist my arm.....;) Caroline

I'll update the first post as people become interested and then when we sign up for classes we can coordinate schedules.
I did that for Valley Forge? Or Manchester? I don't remember.
Anyway and if anyone is interested in meeting up for lunch, dinner, or a crop we can add that in as well.

I have never done the crop though, can we sit anywhere or is it assigned? If it's assigned I'm sure we can contact someone saying we want to sit together.

I know the tables kind of stink (really narrow and not a lot of wiggle room), or they have in the past. I wonder if they would mind us moving them into squares. When I was there for the Creative Memories crop they had nice big round tables, I wonder if they will have those again.
