We need to find an inexpensive but very clean hotel for the first and last night of our Orlando stay. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a compelling reason not to add on at your current resort? I, for one, am not a huge fan of moving during vacation. The exception I will make is for an early morning flight---either down or back---it's often nice to stay closer to the airport.

We will be traveling an entire day to arrive and an entire day back home.
We just need to save money rather than adding to our family suite.

like the quality Inn west - nothing special - but a nice room in a good location.

Also, we would prefer a suite but cleanliness is far more important.

now some guests have found Comfort Inn LBV - less clean than they wished - but others have not.
so I guess it is just luck.

I have found the Comfort Suites Maingate East for ~$55 in low season to ~$68 for this December for a suite that sleeps 6 with a microwave and fridge kitchenette included. There is a nice breakfast included in the price, and according to the reviews on Tripadvisor, they're now serving Mickey waffles as part of the included breakfast. Can't beat that price for a great hotel with consistently good reviews both here and at Tripadvisor.
Hope that helps!

 Thanks for all the information. I looked at all the suggestions and we have decided to go with Comfort Suites Maingate East. We got a rate of $71.20 for the first night and $87.99 for the second. That was using the link above and it was a few dollars less then even the government rate.
