They are cheaper than other sites for most of the disney.
Here is the cool thing!!
They offer a 6 day hopper plus for 262 Adults and 215 kids that include one resort or character breakfast. The cheapest I have seen the 6 day on other sites was 272.95 and 219.95
Not much savings on the kids tix, but the adults include the character breakfast, which is 30-35 dollars for 2 adults.
They also have the 10 day world pass, which also includes the character breakfast and very similar benefits to the 7 day hopper/
BTW what is the difference between the 7 day hopper plus and the 10 day world ticket?
TIA

The difference between World Pass and Hopper +'s is that in the World Pass you can go and do without keeping track. You don't have 2, 3, or 4 many extra's to count up--ie. if you wanted to go to a major park every morning, hit a water park every afternoon, then go to Pleasure Island every night, you would be one very tired puppy, but you could do it!! The world pass is equivalent to the Length of Stay/Ultimate Park Hopper and includes DisneyQuest as well.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the website but I don't see any mention of the character breakfast. I would appreciate it if you would tell me where to click.
I would also be interested if anyone has any experience with this company.
Thanks!

Disney's 6 days Hopper Plus w/breakfast
Children ages are 3-9 $262 $215
Disney's 7 days Park Hopper Plus
Children ages are 3-9 $298 $250
Disney's 10 days World Pass
Children ages are 3-9 $335 $275
when you go to the url: http://reservations.paramountinternationaltravel.com/DisneyOrderTickets.asp
just click on the 6 day hopper plus link and it will open up a separate small window, explaining about the resort or character breakfast. The same info comes up when you click on the world pass link on the page.
Hope this helps..

Thanks for the info compmom! I had never seen or heard of the 10day World Pass, this may work for my April trip with my two teens. I will have a APPlus (or whatever it is called now) and the two teen want it all...Parks, water parks, DQ & maybe PI, we will be there for 7 nites and we are switching resorts..buying 2 separte Unlimited Magic Passes at each resort totals up to around 385.00!
I have just one question...Does Disney sell these tickets also?

Pooh's Pal - I have never heard of this pass being offered to the public by Disney. I don't know what to make of these tickets. Although there are other legitimate places that sell legitimate tickets that you cannot get at WDW.
Here is another discussion that we are having concerning purchasing tickets at this website. http://198.65.131.237/showthread.php?s=&threadid=164014
Sounds like it is pretty new and we have no feedback on them...

I always understood that the 10 day World pass was only available here in the UK. We can purchase it through Disney Store or as part of a package holiday. I think it was designed for the UK guest who comes for 2-3 weeks and stays off site.
It gives 10 days (expires 21 days after first use) full access to 4 parks, water parks, Pleasure Island and Disney Quest per day used. 1 character breakfat at resort, MGM or AK but not free parking anymore.

The 10 day world hopper passes expire 20 days after first use. Not an option for us.

That 6 day PHP seems like a very good deal, especially considering you also get a character breakfast with it! The DC price for a 6 day PHP is $278.78 and their price is $262! That's already a $16.78 savings, plus you're getting a free breakfast... or am I missing something here?

Well I just sent an email to them about thier offer of the 10 World pass..Let's see what happens next!

Mercy, I don't think that you are missing a thing! The savings ARE really GOOD! What I am a bit concerned about is that fact that NO ONE on this board (yet! :) ) has used this site and can give any feedback on it. So far, it is not registered with the BBB. I think that people are just trying to be cautious. Once this site establishes a good track record, I am sure that they will be getting lots of the Budget Board's business!

The prices really ARE the best that I have seen outside of Connections or passes for employees of Disney's corporate sponsors. You could TRY calling Disney, but I don't know that they will tell you anything.
What we need is feedback from someone who has used the site that their transaction went through with no problems, that they received their passes within the time that the paid postage for, that their credit card was charged correctly, and that they had no problems with the passes. It will take some time to find that all out...unless you are a gambler. ;)

Well I got a very quick reply to my email...
I asked about the 10 World Pass to explain them and if I had to pick up the tickets in thier Orlando office or could they be shipped & what was the shipping policies...and this is basically what they said:
"Thank you for your request. We can deliver the attraction tickets for you. Shipping in the US is $15.00, 2 business day UPS, after receiving letter of authorization to charge your credit card. The tickets offer you freedom to visit everything in Disney and 1 breakfast with the characters per ticket. Breakfast is a all you can eat hot buffet.
If you prefer to pick up at the office, the hours are: Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30, Sat-10-1:30
Not open during holidays.
Tickets are Non-refundable and need to be prepaid. Prices are subject to change.
Orders must be placed in advance, please allow at least 7 days prior to you day of use. Those tickets are special orders and can not be requested at the last minute."
She then went on to give a description of the 10 day World Pass, same as Thier web site describes.
I'm going to email her again asking about the Disney connection and see what she has to say then. ...
Still sounds too good to be true...Remember what your mother used to say:
If it sounds too good to be true...It probably isn't!
Like Mary and Beth said...beware...Ok now, Who wants to go first!

I want to point out something about these tickets and the breakfast. It says "Disney Character Breakfast at participating restaurants located within the Walt Disney World Resort." I wouldn't be at all suprised if the choice might be very limited.

Hi, Sorry I didn't want to type the whole message, but they did state this also..10 days admission to ALL Disney Theme Parks, including water Parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sprorts. Each day the World Pass is used at any Park or Attraction, constitutes one full day of use. Freedom to visit multiple parks on the same day.
Admission to sporting events at Disneys WWof Sports Complex requiring separate admission charge in not included.
One Character Breakfast available at the following participating restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resorts:
Garden Grill at Epcot
Restaurantasaurus at Disney's AK
Hollywood and Vine At MGM OR
Ohana at Disney Polynesian Resort
Reservations are required (So, yes they are limited.-But some good ones-but I thought the Garden Grill didn't served breakfast anymore? but I may be wrong)
Full use of the WDW resort transprotation System.
The world pass expires 20 days after date of first use.
That is the end of the email..

Txed WDW-DISNEY, they never heard of these tix.
THey told me to call 407-827-4166(ticket Reseach) and THEY never heard of these tix.
Told me to forward URL of the site to
wdww.guest.info.communications@disney.com
I am going to try to tx the Ticket site(paramountinternationaltravel) and get somebody who can answer why they are selling tickets that Disney has no knowledge of.
(after txing Paramount..........)
Paramountinternational (Rosa) 1-888-281-6699 said these are tix that they get from wholesalers and that they have sold these types of tix for overa year.
Then I txed general information at WDW and they referred me to legal department. Right now I am waiting for a tx call back to verify whether Paramount International Travel has a "relationship" with Disney and Universal or not. If they are legitimate then this will not hurt them, but if they are fraudulent or selling stuff they should not be- then they will have to be dealt with.

Just so that you know, when in the summer floridaorlandotickets was offering a 5 day 4 Plus Option (not 2) Hopper Plus ticket, Disney denied knowing that LEGITIMATE tickets existed. There are many on this site who bought and used those tickets. For some reason, right now I am not so concerned about whether these tickets are REAL, I am more concerned that we have no feedback on the use of the site.
But I will always say - Let the Buyer Beware, and compmom you are doing some excellent research. :)

It was true that in the past, the Disney 10 World passes were only offered to the UK market, however Paramount INternational, as a global receptive wholesaler now, has the right to sell this to everyone that comes through or website
or call center at 1-888-***-**** or 1-407-***-****
This agreement is only between DISNEY and some of thier best clients and Paramount International Travel, is glad to be one of them. (then why doesn't Disney know about them!)
We are an authorized Wholesaler for all the suppliers on our web site. There is no 3rd party involved. When you buy a ticket through us, your tickets come with our name printed. You will not have any problems with any of our attractions.

The 10 day ticket is definitely a legit ticket, BUT I've always been told that it can only be bought in the UK. They sell them in the Disney Store here, so Disney do know about them.
$335 isn't actually that great a price, I am buying mine from Virgin (the airline and travel company) who are definitely a legit company and they are £199 which is only $281. It might be worth ringing them to see if they would deliver them to a US address?

Well here is the scoop from Barbara in the legal Dept at Disney 407-828-1750-
Yes they have heard of Paramount International Travel, but not in a positive light.
They have a complaint file over 2 years old and inches thick, from people who have been taken by this company. It ranges from not getting your tickets, getting used or expired tix. The list of complaints is varied, but it points out an obvious point,; that this appears to be a very untrustworthy company!
There is no Disney affiliation as a "partner" or wholesaler of Disney Tickets.
BTW-Barbara said the file on them was 100% complaints and nothing positive was ever said about them also.
Barbara said Disney's official position is that the buyer should beware and that Disney knows of only 3 places that there are genuine unused Disney tickets are sold:
1: AAA
2: Disney Stores
3: Park Gates
Feel free to call or write to disney if you have complaints, questions or other thoughts, they really appreciate trying to educate us consumers and help us not be scammed or taken advantage of . I will not be using this company...
I know some of you have had luck at other online discount tickets sites. I personally can't pass up the Connections prices. We should just all keep doing what we can to inform and help each other get the most from our hard earned money.
Sorry the news is not better, but on to the next deal or savings!!

Subject: Your discount ticket site
It is funny that you say that you are an associated company and have a good relationship with Disney. When Disney has been contacted all they can say is that they have a complaint file that spans over 2 years and is inches thick, with nothing good to say about your company.
Needless to say my business will go elsewhere and I will purchase legitimate tickets that I can trust from another vendor.
Wholesaler or not, this whole discount ticket thing is not right.

Their Response:
Dear ............,
Very impressed with your words, I called Disney Sales and guess services and both department are asking the name of the person that you spoke with.
Neither guess service or the agents on the floor has our company file information.
You would have to speak with sales department.
I actually have Mike on the phone with me from guess services, waiting to see if you reply my email with the name, so he can check with that particular person the wrong information given about our company.
We certainly understand your concerns and we would love to be able to make this right.
I can assure you that Paramount International Travel, has an impeccable reputation and our attraction tickets are good.
If you be so kind, and give us the department name, number and name of the person you spoke with, I would really appreciate.
Disney would love to reply to your email addressing this issue.
We are a Disney Authorized wholesaler and we do not have any file of complains.
I am sorry for the inconvenient and I hope you were able to find attraction tickets for a excellent price like ours, so you can move on with your vacations plans.
Sorry we could not help you this time.
If you have any other questions or concern, please fell free to call us at 407 841-0134 or 1 888 - 281-2266 ext. 215.

How do these places GET these tickets? Do they have some kind of relationship with Disney? Why wouldn't Disney sell for comparable prices? They'd have to realize that people will buy from whoevers cheaper and that could hurt Disney's business....I am just wondering how these places can sell the tickets cheaper than disney

According to one of the posts the only official suppliers are AAA, park gate or Disney Stores- where does Connections fit in? They are not on the list as a legit seller.
I am really hoping that these are legit tickets. I have reserved two tickets that I have to pick up on Monday March 4th. They are the six day park hopper plus with Character Breakfast for 262.00. I will see where they are located and trust my instincts. If the instincts say they are shady- I will not buy! I will not be back home until March 11, however I will try to find some Internet access and post what happened ASAP
Keep the info coming.

This is part of an email Paramount sent to Disney and along the way sent me a copy./
Dear Barbara Ann,
Like I said, we were given your name and phone number by a gentleman name Paul pkonold@excite.com that like Mrs. Tina Hayes, loves Disney and are planing to come and visit us here, and maybe use our website to do business with.
However, after what they heard from you at the Disney legal department, they decided otherwise.
A bad word about our company was spread all over at a Discussion Forums site.
Paul told me what to look and where and who is saying what about Paramount International Travel
Please refer to the link bellow and read the 3 pages about their conversation about our company and what at the end Mrs. Hayes say about what you said about us.
Mrs. Hayes had also sent me some emails and she is the one that was doing the investigation.
http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=164168
Like I said before, I did speak with our sales rep and she also NEVER received any complain about our company and I am sure, you as a legal represent of Disney can verify that.
I wonder where, those customers found these bad information about us at the legal department.
Mrs. Hayes makes very clear that she spoke with Barbara at the Disney legal department.
We will take action, but before we do so, I need you to write to those people with the truth.
I also would like to know if Is there any other Barbara working for your legal department ?
I know you told me not, but can you please check again?
I would really appreciate if you can reply to those people to clear Paramount International Travel's name since as you can easily find out, Paramount is a very reputable and trustworthy company

I am really eager to get to the bottom of this since it has been a very serious matter.
I appreciate your interest and help.
Sites such as these, should be more careful before destroying a good company reputation and so should the people doing it, however, as a customer, I see why those people are doing exactly what they are doing.
Customers are suppose to search and beware and for that I am really glad, since we do not have anything to hide or to be afraid of.
But, those customers, must know the truth about Paramount International Travel.
My name is Jessica Ambar
My phone number is 407 - 8410134
I am very proud to be Paramount International Travel employee.
I could not have a better job or a more honest place to work and I've been in many places before.
In this company we can not please everyone since we have a business to do and business have rules, however, number one priority is to do the best, to always say the truth and to help our customers.
We have a huge commitment with the truth and we consider ourselves the best.
Waiting for your prompt reply,
Jessica Ambar
PS : I would really appreciate if Mrs. Hayes also would give the people she was talking to a scope of what is still going on.
I hope you all have a very Magical day!

Okay the two previous posts were broken up, due to length(plus I have been trying to post them for over 2 hours and the broken up format was the only way to get them on)
Okay, now Paramount International seems to be really peeved and looking for redemption.
I wonder if a company, such as Paramount would work so hard to clear their name if they were such a "stinker" as Disney had implied to me over the phone. It seems that if they were really shady and untrustworthy, they would crawl under a rock and not fight the accusations.
I did not want to start a fight. I just wanted to get legitimate tickets at a very fair price.
I hope Disney is not attempting to influence the ticket market to their favour???
Most of you veterans have seens scams and have seen instances of Disney being "disney".
I would appreciate input as to what you think about this situation, both companies and just where I should get these doggone tickets. (that price is still to tempting to pass on-especially if they turn out to be a legitimate vendor.) I figure I still have another week, before I consider the pick them up in Orlando option or delivery to my hotel. We are arriving in Orlando on 3/28
Thanks for being there and giving great input.

we are about 45 miles from Charlotte! It IS a "small world"! (Isn't it cold this morning!)
This is just my two cents on the legitimacy of this company. I think that if any company who was in the position of entertaining a partnership with a corpoation as large as Disney would have someone with better grammatical skills handling your "observations" and concerns. I can't help but want to grab a fat red pen and correct the gramamr in that e-mail.!
Just a simple observation.

I don't know what to think, I have bought tickets from places other than Disney before, last year I bought php's through connections and had absolutely no problems with them, I also bought Universal tickets and had no problem there either. But then 20/20 or dateline (I don't remember what show it was) had a special report about WDW tickets and showed people like us, looking for a bargain (definitely like us) and buying their tickets from places near and around Disney, that were supposedly Disney tickets, but when they got to the park gates, were told that the tickets were no good, it was awful, they showed families being turned away from disney as if THEY were trying to scam Disney....now, these people were buying tickets from places that actually "buy back" unused tickets (example: I have a day left on 2 of my tickets from last year's trip...I could sell them to one of these ticket places and then they resell to others at a discount. ) I would never buy unused tickets...but I got worried just because I thought, what if Disney decides the only tickets they will accept is ones bought through places only authorized by Disney? What if they crack down even on places like connections? Even the food vouchers, which are Disney issued, were used by my family with no problem, but I am just wondering, where does connections get these things? If its through Disney, wouldn't Disney admit their relationship with them? I happen to know that the connections food vouchers are normally vouchers that come in Disney package deals, so where does connections get them? Where do any of these places get them? I am still undecided if i am buying through Connections this year after all the controversy. Even last year, every time I went to the parks, I held my breath as I put the pass into the thing at the gate, and breathed a sigh of relief when it went through with no hitch, I hate that uneasy feeling, that I know I won't have if I just buy through Disney Store.

I don't work in the travel industry but I was under the impression there were lots of travel companies which could purchase wholesale tickets from Disney to sell as part of their travel packages. I think another person mentioned VIRGIN as having similar tickets. I wouldn't be surprised if these were legitimate tickets purchased in that manner. I know there are several travel agents who post to this board. Anyone know if this is possible?
As to Ms. Ambar's grammatical skills, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed english was not her 1st language.
I'll be waiting and watching with interest!

My thoughts run along the lines of CarolynNC's also - I just didn't have the energy to type it all up this morning.
I will also comment that I do alot of work that invovles using the computer for emails and correspondence and reading the Paramount email doesn't surprise me at all in terms of grammar and spelling. My first thought is the writer uses English as a second language but even if not I have received many work emails with no capitals used, poor spelling, words out of context, etc. It surprises me but its not rare at all.

Ok everyone I think I have found the answer to this problem. First I am the "Paul" that Jessica Ambar wrote about in her message earlier. I have be talking to her and Disney the last two days about all of this. First here is some of the emails we have sent. First I made her aware of this board and the stuff that was being said about her company. She responded:
"Not only it is not truth but also I just finished talking to Barbara Ann Fernadez at Disney legal department and she is or never was aware of any complaint about our company.
The phone number you gave us though is correct from Disney legal department. Thank you for letting us know.
I am forwarding your email to her and she will be replying to you also."
She then tried to look at the message board and could not find it:
"We tried to find the bulletin board you mentioned and we could not find anything about our company.
After talking with our sales rep at Disney and with Disney's legal department ( Barbara Ann ), our attitude can only be, to ignore and rise above the insults and lies about our company.
People can be mad about their lives, maybe they envy our great products and excellence.
Since we are who we say, we do what we have to do properly and we are a reputable company, I see no reason to be concern with a post done by a very lost soul that not even have a name of phone to be questioned by.
We had never, ever, sold a an used or expired attraction tickets.
I would ask the person that post such lie in this bulletin post, to rise and talk to us.
I would love to hear from them their issues.
I am following actually directions from our sales people in Disney which had never had a single complain about us.
Barbara at the Disney legal department have your email and soon, she will also reply.
Have a Great and Magical Day!
Jessica Ambar
Paramount International Travel"
I then gave the link to the message board and that is when she sent off the email to Compmom and I.
HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART:
I am very impressed with this company and the customer service I have received! I WOULD do business with them. Jessica made one thing aware to me. If you look on there web site it says you request the tickets. I was unaware (as many of us are because of the fact it is not stated on the web site) of the fact that these prices are not for everyone! The price for the 6-day pass is not for anyone in the USA! She sent me this email:
"About the 6 days tickets, we can only offer you this ticket when we have your address since some of our attraction tickets can only be offered to a specific market.
If your address match a certain category yes we can sell for the same price you have in the system.
We can never tell when the prices go up or down, and for that matter, we can not guarantee till we have the customer request."
I gave her my city and state, and here we go:
"No sorry, not at this time, your address does not qualify,
You would have to be out of USA to qualify...Sorry.
What is it that you are looking for?
Are you staying in a Disney property?
If you are, we can offer you the length of stay ticket or the resort magic package.
Also, the 5 days park hopper plus...
What is the price you have and when are you coming ?
We will do our best to help you.
Have a great day!
Jessica"
I then fired off a email about my feeling on this. And how if I order them on the web site I COULD get that price, and never states that it is USA residents don't qualify. Then got this email:
"Good Morning Paul,
About Disney 6 days tickets.
Paul, if you order the tickets, it will go trough but your credit card will only be authorized, not charged.
When it hits the in-house system, because your address is in USA, we will reject and your credit card will never be charged.
You, the customer then receives an email why his request as rejected and an option is given.
We still struggle with the different products Disney offers for different markets when using the on-line system.
Our company is creating a better way to offer the tickets to different markets in a better way, but for now... only the rejection with another option is available.
We work very strongly with different markets and some tickets can only be offered to 1 or 2 specifics market.
Here and there, Disney changes the policy like the 10 days that now we can offer to everyone, and we try to accommodate all of them as best as we can.
The 10 days now can be offered everywhere when before was only for the UK...
Also our company is always in contact with Disney trying to improve and change together to better serve our customers needs that here and there also, changes completely.
About your tickets.
We have what we call Friday in-house promotion.
Some are not on-line and some are.
Today we have some very good deals :
Booking on Fridays !
1 - 5 days park hopper plus 235.00 adult - Friday Special

Those are some of our promotions for today.
We always have Friday deals, so if you need anything, just let us know.
Have a great day!
Jessica - Reservation Center"
Well there you go! I also have talked to Barbara at Disney and she said that she could NOT find any complaint about this company! I would do business if the price is right. I am very surprised at how hard they have tried to clear their name, but I don't like their web site. In my mind it is miss-leading! I guess the best way to deal with these guys is to try for the price on their web site (by the sound of it you won't get it) then call them and get the "Friday deals". Hopefully this clears this up. Sorry its so long, but I think we have reached the bottom on this. In the future I think we should all try and get to the bottom of deals like this together and not drag a company's name across the rocks while we do it. I just hope I didn't make to many grammer errors (I am sure that I did) or I will be the next one that gets "the rocks" LOL

Barbara Ann is not aware of any complaints?
Why would she tell me info that she has a whole file on this company-me the consumer-
and then when she is called on the carpet=she turns the story around?
I had left a message with legal and then txed them back when I did not hear.
I did speak to this woman, and she had my name number and message. She KNEW the name of the company and the location I was inquiring about. She did not confirm the "relationship" that Jessica spoke of and then she went on to fill me in about her "file" and that it was 100% complaints. Boy the things people do to save their skin! If this is how Disney treats prospective guest, with lies and backstabbing and undercutting the competition=maybe I will just spend my money at Sea World or Universal or Busch Gardens.
Now to find out this company probably would not honor an order if I placed one, because I live in the USA......GRHHHHH....
I give up!!
Tina
BTW- reporting info that you get during a phone conversation, plus email follow-up is not dragging a company's name thru the mud. It is put into the context of a forum, with people who have a heck of a lot more experience travelling, buying or talking about Disney related topics; can share their thoughts and insights with those of us less travelled. I want to get my money's worth.

I wondered if because many bargain travelers here in the US hadn't heard of Paramount it might be because they were based elsewhere (especially since they had the one ticket that is generally only available to those from the UK).
But its the same with Connections - people who live in Canada are unable to purchase tickets through Connections due to operating regulations.

Iv'e read alot about "Paramount International Travel in this forum. Thanks for ALL the details. However, what's the bottom line. Is this a legitimate company or not ?
Has anyone ordered tickets from them and if so which ones ?
I'm going to DISNEY in November. ANy suggestions ?

****The tickets offer you freedom to visit everything in Disney and 1 breakfast with the characters per ticket. Breakfast is a all you can eat hot buffet. *****
Do they specify which WDW restaurant this is ? Do you get a choice ?
I'm also a little hesitant to buy with no current feedback from someone who has done business with them. But it is a tempting offer.

I purchased two 7 day hoppers and 1 five day hopper from them. The tickets arrived in a timely manner and look to be just the same as other park hopper tickets that I have purchased from the Disney Store or the WDW parks. I'll post how things went after they are used (mid-August, 2002). I do not expect any problems. This company has an office in Orlando and a customer service TN. I talked to real people twice (had to arrange to send a photocopy of my credit card) and received two emails from them. Even got a specific extension for one of the people I talked to. I ordered via their 800 number. If they are NOT legitimate, they certainly have a very, very sophisticated (and expensive to run) scam going. Again, I do not expect any problems. Will let people know how things go.

Opinions anyone?
If I order the 10 day now from Paramount for use in July (21st or so onward), we should be able to dispute with our credit card company should the ticket not be as represented. Correct?
Also- Is the 10 day worldpass the only one with Disney Quest availability?

So why when I went to order 10 day passes by phone today did she tell me that they were only for LATIN America? Then she did add later on 'and some overseas markets'. Should I try ordering them online? What do you guys think?

Ordered 10 day world hoppers last nite. Faxed credit card authorization today 12:45 pm central. Received shipping UPS tracking 2:18 or so. UPS says picked up already at West Orlando.

just a couple of thoughts.
You can definitely get legit tickets from other places than those listed - I bought my 10 days tickets (In the UK) from a travel agent, who got them from Keith Prowse - KP sell LOTS of tickets in the UK, probably the majority of them.
the 10 day ticket comes with breakfast - you get a voucher and on the back there are loads of restaurants listed, but only a few of them are character meals, we ate at the Hollywood and Vine, I think Restaurantosaurus and Ohana's were the other character choices.

Tickets received, all is normal. Only thing missing was the breakfast voucher. I have not received it. I was on vacation last part of this week and I will call them on Monday and find out what the deal is with that.

Hulabird, we will be arriving there the week of 7/21/02. Hopefully I can let you know ASAP after that. However, the tickets do appear identical to the ones we purchased directly from Dis 2 years ago- just the different description on the back.
This sounds like "bait and switch" marketing. By luring customers with these exceptional deals, then when the customer attempts to complete the sale, they are told that the price is unavailable to them, the company is dabbling in unethical, if not illegal, deceptibe marketing practices.
Beware.....

I don't think its bait and switch, at least not at the places we are talking about, in fact I used connections last year and it was the cheapest around and I had no problems using them, but I will admit, there was a part of me that held my breath each time we got to a turnstyle and we out tickets in, but things went fine and the tickets were good...:p

Can someone help me on this. I just purchased my tickets from "Ticketmania.com" based in Orlando. I received my four tickets, but when asked someone I work with who was down there in January, she said her's looked like credit cards, where mine look more like actual tickets........thicker then paper, but definately not plastic. Are there different kinds of tickets out there, how do I know for sure that I've purchased something real, especially after reading all these posts. Is it true that Disney only deals with 3 places? If so, then how does all of these other companies and vendors get these tickets? Need help, this is a lot of money to be out of, if they are not legitimate!!!!

Last year I purchased 5 day phps through connections and they were paper tickets, they came in a small cardboard folder, they had pictures of Mickey and Donald etc...on them...but they were not plastic and we used them in the park w/o a problem. Maybe your friend got an ultimate hopper that was put on her room key, which is credit card like....I got a package once and it included the ultimate hopper which is for length of stay and that was included on my room key.....Hope this helps, also many people have posted, and its on mousesavers site, that Ticketmania is legit....now quit worrying, though I understand your feelings 100% as I went through the same thing when I bought from agencies other then WDW or Disney Store

Thanks for the re-assurance........never even gave it a thought to the appearance of the tickets.........glad to hear you had the same. The girl I work with bought hers at a Disney Store.........so maybe that had something to do with it. Thanks again........I'll stop worrying now......

We went to WDW 2 yrs in a row (march 2000/march 2001). I got our park hoppers at the Disney Store both times. The 1st year they were plastic, like a credit card. The 2nd year, they were a thick paper (like cardboard). I guess Disney issues both kinds and it is just luck of the draw which you will get. I preferred the plastic so I didn't worry about them getting wet!

I know some people are concerned about the price of these passports being so low they might not be legit. I just thought you might want to know that these are almost to the penny the same price that military gets. The difference is the water park admission and character breakfast included with these tickets, so I'm very interested in if you get that voucher or not. If you get the meal voucher you've just beaten our military discount which certainly peaks my interest.

Well, the breakfast vouchers were supposedly mailed Monday so I really don't expect them until mid next week or so since they were sent regular mail. Our mail lately has been unbearably slow. I probably could have pushed for UPS 2 day like the tickets came, but we don't leave until 7/18 so I have a good cushion.

jgates or anyone else on this thread,
Has anyone heard if we can get the Disney's Florida Fun in the Sun Ticket here in the U.S.?
It looks to be a really good buy, but it has that limited market restriction. I'm just curious to see if anyone ordered it, received it, and then used it with no complications. The non-Disney stuff is not really needed, but the DisneyQuest option might be a possibility if it rains.
jgates,
Thanks for the previous answer. The breakfast voucher from Connections does include the Grand Floridian Cafe.
jgates
08-31-2002, 06:49 PM
my understanding was the Florida Fun in the Sun were still restricted and US residents could not purchase. However, I am sure I read that a fellow (on the budget board here) did order this one. If I remember right I think someone asked me why I didn't order that instead of 10 day wp, and someone else responded that they tried but were not allowed to. So it might be worth a shot - who knows.
I haven't gone back to check prices again but our 10 days did include Disney Quest. You just used it as a day or 'hop' like another park. (Course my son forgot ticket first nite and I ended up spending $31 for him to get in).
Troyfus- if you have connections info, can you respond to my thread further down if you get the chance?
Thanks!

I just emailed this company last week about the 6 day hopper plus w/ character breakfast and the fun in the sun pass. jgates,
The only Connections info I have is from what I have gathered from reading these boards and Mousesavers. I have managed to purchase a few of each type of food voucher (ie. breakfast, Q & C, and VK Lunch) from other DISers. So if you need info off of any of them, just let me know.
IS1222,
I figured that was the case, but I have heard some have managed to acquire them anyway. What I was wondering, is if you do order and get them, can we use them? Would the CMs at the gates require a foreign ID of some sort?
So if anyone has bought the Disney's Florida Fun in the Sun Tickets, please let us know what is required at the gates to utilize them. Thanks!

I just bought three 10 day passes from paramount int. We will be using them in Jan, 2003. Does anyone know how many times you can go to disney quest and the water parks with these tix? It really seems like you could go to a water park or disney quest plus the other 4 parks all 10 days if you wanted to?! I know we would like to go to disney quest more than one evening but not if it means using up the pass to quickly? I guess my question is, are the water parks and disney quest one option only in 10 days?

I believe this is what dvcer97 is saying too - it appeared that whatever place you went to was a 'hop'. Regardless of whether you went to 1 park & DQ that day - it was one day. Or MK & MGM, etc. It seemed to just treat DQ as a 'park' you were hopping to. I know when the reissued our demagnetized tickets one day (2 times!) I asked the remaining days and it was right with the number of days we had used.
We did not waterpark. We have tons of those in Wisconsin Dells- I wasn't driving 22 hours to a water park when I can get to one in 75 min!
I would not hesitate to buy these again in a flash. If dd & I can go again in a couple of years I will attempt to order same ticket (unless we feel we can go again the next year - then we'll AP).

Someone posted earlier in this thread that they were able to use the breakfast vouchers that came with the 10-day World Pass at Cinderella's Royal Table. That was a stroke of luck.
We came home with ours (3 AD, 1 CH) in July because they *weren't* accepted at CRT on our last day.
I hadn't read the list of participating locations carefully. Sure enough CRT isn't on the list.
We'll be using them in November. Unfortunately, my daughter turns 10 in October, so I probably won't be able to use the Child's voucher.

Champdds,
The Florida Fun in the Sun Pass is supposed to be for foreign markets also. Here is a reply from Disney I received by email:
We appreciate your recent ticket inquiry. The tickets about which you inquired are promoted and sold only to specific international markets. However, since Disney ticket media may be given as gifts, they should be valid for anyone to use them. If you have any further questions regarding the ticket entitlements, please address those inquiries to the purchase location. For any further questions, please visit a Guest Relations location at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom or the Disney-MGM Studios.
Just order the tickets. If they accept the order and ship them to you, then there should be no problem in their utilization. I got my Florida Fun in the Sun Passes last week.
