Here we go again . . .was planning on doing a moderate resort for upcoming anniverary trip with DH, but he's being a BIG BABY and refuses to stay off the monorail resorts . . . Soooooooo seeing that I'm looking for a "ROMANTIC" trip, and we are doing the Poly in April 03, I'm figuring . . .ok, let's go back to GF.

Would love to stay facing MK . .(stayed in Boca Chica in 99) but I am also looking into garden view rooms that have a quiet location. Anyone have any suggestions of rooms/views/buildings?

Thanks for any help :D

Sago Cay has rooms in the GV category that face the monorail track and the marina. That could nice. We stayed in Conch Key with a marina view and a partial monorail view and a view of Sago Cay. That was quiet because we were far away from Gasparilla's and on the other side of the pool.

Thank you for asking this question...I am a WDW novice compared to everyone on these boards, that's for sure! I never would have thought to try and plan where in the hotel to stay. My DH and I have a garden view room booked at the GF from 5/11 to 5/18. How can I request one of these rooms with a good view in a quiet area? Can I call CRO and do this, or do I ask upon check-in? TIA!

Chrissy - Hey, I'm still a novice too . .LOL You'll learn alot from these boards . . .people are very helpful . . .

When I call CRO I usually state what I want . . .but they never guarantee anything . . .what I did in the past was not only let CRO know, but I also fax the resort with my request. CRO has always said that the actual resort doesn't get your information until 24 to 48 hours before your actual arrival . . .sooooooo I usually ask the resort if its possible to get a Lagoon MK un-obstructed view, etc . . .

I haven't been disappointed yet!

Hope this helped ya a bit
