Hi,

We are going in just 3 weeks time now!!! Woooooo. I'm so excited. Anways today me and my mam are gonna make a list of things we need to take such as plugs, chargers, hair dryer etc. But its our first time at DLP and like our first holiday for many years.
So i was wondering if people could just name some essentials to take and maybes even any specific for DLP?? I'd hate to get there and realised i'd forgot loads of thins, lol.
Also we are staying in a standard room at the Sequoia Lodge, so what kind of things do they provide? Will we need like a travel kettle and stuff and towels?

Hi,

You won't need towels - all the Disney hotels provide ample towels in the rooms.
You can hire kettles for a deposit at the hotels, same with hairdryers (if they are not in the room as standard).

Essentials for me are my comfiest shoes/boots, and my camera batteries and charger.

Enjoy planning your trip,

Elaine

Yep, a hat, gloves and lots of layers. You may be lucky and not need them, but if you don't bring them you can guarantee it will be cold!!

Thanks everyone. Thats handy about the kettle then (not that i use it myself but the others do,lol).

I'll deffo be taking plenty of warm clothes, i just got a lovely new coat too which so far is proving very warm. Gonna take loads of socks too- i tend to layer up on socks LOL. Arm warmers, gloves, scarf- anything possible lol.

What food wise are you allowed to take? Like snacks and stuff?

Foodwise we pack for the kids - bags of crisps, biscuits, haribo sweets, babybels, dried fruit.

Also if you are hiring or taking a travel kettle you might want to take some cheap plastic mugs with you so you can have a proper cuppa. Or buy a mug to take home with you on your first day in the park.
