I have been going to basketball practice for 3 days now and let me tell you they put us through heck! I'm really sore and I would love some advice on how to soothe the pain before i need to get up for practice tomorrow morning at 9:00.

OMG ME TOO!! but i havent done really anything about the pain because i know its just my muscles getting usedto everything.

omg. i hate it so much! when i walk down the stairs i end up going " ow, ow, ow, ow"lol

ya today i have a bottom locker so every time i bent down i was like ow my knee, ow my legs, ow my feet,... lol

lol then i remeber during practice today we were doing box-out and rebounding drills and we went after the ball and we ended up in a dog pile with me at the bottom

today we did this drill where we had to sit up against the wall as if there was an invisible chair and hold a basketball in between our knees. in addition to a bunch of other grueling activities!

Two words for you. Icy Hot. It does wonders! And take this from someone with experience. Last year I was on a national volleyball team. It was my first year of that level of training and boy, it was so hard! I practiced twice a week for three hours(each practice day) and I was always sore. I just thought I was out of shape but then my dad told me about Icy Hot. I tried some and oh does it help! Sure you smell really pepperminty and fresh and strong but it soothes your muscles down so good! Just a warning though. Its burns for about 5 mintues but it feels so good you only notice about the first 2 and a half. I personally think it helps. And if you go to like Walmart you can get a Walmart brand that works too. =]
