Meeting Characters

Can someone tell me if they have a times guide at the front of the park that tells you what times characters are out for meet & greets and the locations of where they will be?? We weren't able to meet that many characters last time and would like to meet more so I'd like to get as much info. as possible on when and where to see them. TIA!!!!! :cool1:

Yes, they have guides near the entrance to the park. They have several character meet times listed. Of course, there are also other characters that aren't listed that just show up in different areas around the park.

Here's what the guide I had in May listed for characters at IOA:

The guides were in a stand near entrace after you pass through the gates. They also had them at the stroller rental counter and most of drink/snack stands.

I found a picture in an old visitFlorida pamphlet and it has a picture with Yogi Bear and all his friends, Woody Woodpecker, Scooby Doo, the Jestons and the Flintstones. Are these characters still around the parks or is it just the newer characters now?

I've never seen the Simpsons on the schedule but I've noticed them a couple of times down the "street" from their upcoming "ride" posing for pics. Haven't had time to stop yet but we plan to next time we seem 'em.

Definitely stop by to see Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona. Donkey really does never stop talking, just like in the movie.

Scooby Doo (and Shaggy) and Woody Woodpecker (and Woody's girlfriend Winnie Woodpecker) were there when we went in May.

I haven't heard of recent sightings of the others.

The Star Toons show has Shaggy & Scooby, Woody & Winnie Woodpecker, Curious George & the Man in the Yellow Hat. Here's a really bad picture:

The characters do a quick (like 2-3 minute) show and then come off stage in pairs for pictures. If you look on the ground around the stage, you'll see the areas where each of them are heading marked off in chalk.
