ok first off let me say those are great pics and second were the fireworks taken in bulb mode? and was wondering the two pics that are just lines was it intentional and if not it makes me feel good that even one as talented as you gets a few shots that may not be great

I wasn't using bulb, I was 2 to 2.5 secs, and using a remote shutter release.

The squiggly line ones was me running around with my camera on an extended tripod trying to move from one spot to the other and hitting the shutter release button... even though they aren't of anything but squiggly lines, I thought they were kind of cool so I kept them.

Cool - I was hoping to get time to do some DCA night photos but just didn't get a chance to... even with three days there we barely set foot in DCA! It didn't help that it closed pretty early the last couple days, early enough that they didn't even do the parade. :(

Still, I can only hope that most of the Paradise Pier area gets bulldozed in the upcoming redo of the park... apart from the coaster and perhaps the ferris wheel, that's my least favorite "land" in DL or WDW.
