Green Bean Casserole question

Can I make green bean casserole with whole green beans (the frozen kind)?
I had a bag of cut green beans in my hands at the grocery store, but changed my mind and bough uncut green beans. Did I make a mistake? TIA:)

I would use them, just precook them in the microwave first.

I appreciate that. The recipes I've seen for this dish say NOT to cook the frozen ones first, but to let them thaw, then drain them. Good to know that the full green bean will be ok to use. Thanks Mrs. Disney Ron:goodvibes
