Whew - I feel like it anyway.
"Santa" has asked DW what she'd like for the holidays. She'd really like a scrapping room that is ORGANIZED.
We have the room. We have all of the scrap supplies. We have the table.
I don't know where to begin. She looked and looked online at pictures of scraprooms. She likes the ones with white furniture.
Do you have a picture (online) of a great scrap room? And also, has anyone seen some white cubes and drawers at Target in the scrap section? Know what brand they are? Are they any good?
Can anyone else recommend a place (even online is ok) to order cubes or scrapbook furniture from?
I really feel like I'm losing my mind! I don't know where to begin.

Here are some various resources:
http://tracieclaiborne.blogspot.com/2007/06/organizing-101-for-renee.html is a blog entry with some good ideas for organization
I can neither recommend or not the boxes from target, but they are also available at Jo-Ans. There are newspaper and email coupons you can sign up for that are well worth the savings (40% or so off). http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2051&PRODID=prd55755
Additionally, if you have the room and wall space, consider white slat board. You can buy canisters and hooks that are really nice to see and be inspired by.
Check out the links on this tread too for some space saving organization ideas too: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1633702

check out www.twopeasinabucket.com too. there are lots of scraproom ideas there. when you get to that site, do a search for scraproom. the search box is in the upper right hand corner of the page.

I have some from Target and I love them. I thought the ones at JoAnn's were more expensive, I could be wrong. I have the paper holder and the one with 3 drawers and they are both stuffed! Good luck!

I have the white cubes they are by Store in Style. You can look them up on the internet. I bought mine several years ago on e-bay. They are very easy to assemble and you can get which ever style you like so you can make your own configuration.
Check out the website for some ideas.

Also as the PP said, you can get coupons to buy them at some of the stores. I think they are averaging around 25-29 a cube these days.
Good luck!!!!

I haven't used these myself, but they are also available online at Oriental Trading Company and they often have free shipping promotions for orders over $60 or $75.
Good luck!

There was a fantastic article in one of the scrapbook magazines last year - cropinstyle and the magazine designed the woman's whole room. If anyone can remember what magazine it was - the article might still be available on line.
