Sad news for dh [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi, about a week ago dh's favourite aunt had a stroke. She seemed to be getting better, but then took a severe turn for the worst a few days ago. Today she was taken on life support and is only on morphine for pain. It's only a matter of days really. Sad for dh because Auntie Eve never married or had kids, so she was like a second mother to him. I'll keep you posted. Sandra :(

Aw Sandra, I'm so sorry to hear that! I'll keep him and his Aunt Eve in my thoughts and prayers, that everything goes easily for her.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Sandra. Sounds like Auntie Eve has been a wonderful "second mom" to your DH and he a "son" to her. I'll keep your family in my thoughts during this difficult time.
