This weeks chalenge is to remove something from a photo. Since I couldn't figure out a good picture to use please use a photo of your choosing. It would be nice if your photo could be Disney related, but is not a requirement. You must post the before and after photos.
Photos may be cropped, framed, whatever you wish to do in your editing, as long as you have removed something from the photo that was originally in it.
Also, please post your comments or suggestions in the Photoshop Contest Help (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1618210)thead, I want this to be fun and a good learning experience for as many as we can make it.
Please see the official rules of the contest located at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1566404

This is one of the first ones I did after I got Photoshop CS. My wife and I worked on it together. My son is holding the flag and we got rid of the other kid. Sorry its not Disney related

mabas9395, I remember this picture from before, I always feel so bad for that little boy that went poof. Good job though.

Thanks Philagoofy. He was a nice boy so it was sad to see him go. But every pixel of him that we zapped, our photoshop skills grew. It helps a little to know that him going poof was for a good cause.
Hey, one of Gregg's photo editing contests that I can actually do!!;)
I took a Photoshop Elements class this spring, and here's my 2nd attempt at cloning something out. I used the clone stamping tool. (My 1st attempt wasn't too bad, but you could definitely see a repeating pattern in what I cloned.)
Here's the original:

And now the lady behind the balloon guy is gone!

I just took out a small pole...

Ok Bob, I gotta know how you did that! I know most of the cloning is using the black background to cover the pole, but how in the world did you re-create his arm? Did you have another photo that you copied the arm from? You even have the folds in the fabric and the light coming from the right direction......

Yep, I did use another arm, but not his! ;) It was from the singer to his left.

One of the digital tricks I try to remember (but didn't this time) is: if a pole or something is in the way, take two photos from slightly different angles and merge them later to clone out the pole (or take two images of a moving person and merge them to get a clear shot)

Ah, Glacier Point, my favorite place in the natural world (WDW is my favorite in the manmade world of course).
When were you there? It looks very clear that day.

That was my first visit and, to this point, my favorite spot as well. Simply a feeling of sensory overload for anyone with a camera. Being up there at night is even better I think. Can't wait to return. Incredible vistas.
We were there the first week of this past August. I've been told we were very lucky to have such clear skies. About a month or so later, I understand it was quite hazy from fires, etc. and that it's not typically crystal clear as a norm anyway.
