Race Verification

Is the race verification on the disney world marathon website is only for participants who are registered as non-charity runners? A friend who is running under charity could not find the entry on that website.

When I ran with TNT last year I recieved an email from active.com verifying my entry for the marathon. I think this was early Decemberish. about 2 or 3 weeks after I filled out the race entry form and sent it in to TNT. Shortly after that, I was able to verify my entry on the Disney website.

Hello! Yes, charity or group/tour entrants will not be able to be verified by the Disney site until early/mid December. This information was passed on to me by my tour group (which is how I secured a Goofy Challenge entry).

Also, the tour/charity groups receive their Marathon programs in the dead-last mailing. So...don't count on receiving your program until you have rung-in the New Year! :rotfl:
