Congrats on a great start! I am following you from Thread Killers and am subscribing to your trip report.

Btw, you have a lovely family.

I would like to know one thing though - How did you decide which restaurants you wanted to eat at? Based on experience, recommendations, etc?? I've never been to WDW and haven't a clue as to where to plan to eat.

Thanks for joining. Picked Garden Grill, Coral Reef, and Sci Fi because we have eaten there before. My DH and I have eaten at the Castle but DS and DD have not. They would like to try it just to be inside the Castle. We have never seen the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and I have read that it is very funny. Corny but funny. That fits us perfectly. Just read a lot on the DIS and it will help inform you on what fits your family.

Enjoying the pre-trip report so far, Shmu. Sorry you have to wait so long until your trip. I only had to wait 4 months between the time we booked our trip (March) and when it actually took place (July), and I thought July would NEVER get here. ;)

We have a few things in common. My first trip to WDW was in June of 1972--two months before my 4th birthday. I also met my wife at church. We attended the same church and school (private school operated by the church we attended) since we were little kids. We were good friends long before we ever started dating and eventually married. We are still very involved in our church, and I'm glad to see others who are as well. :thumbsup2

BTW, I created a thread back in August with photos from my childhood trips to WDW that you might enjoy. The link is in my signature ("When The World Was Young"...sorry for the shameless plug...LOL).

However, as a Auburn fan, it was hard for me to see you in a Dawg shirt!:rotfl:

AUdisfan, I'm so glad to finally discover another Auburn fan in this forum. I'm sure there are more, but I haven't met them yet. In fact, I discovered this thread when I noticed on the index that the last reply was made by AUdisfan. That got my attention. You should check out the Auburn pics I posted recently on pages 35 and 36 of my trip report thread (see link in signature..."First Trip To WDW in 21 Years"). Shmu (and others) might also enjoy the pics from our trip earlier in that thread (another shameless plug). ;)

And I agree...that Dawg shirt has got to go! :lmao:

Actually, Georgia is my second-favorite SEC team. I've always enjoyed when Dawg fans come to town. It's always felt like a big family reunion with Tigers and Dawgs tailgating together all over campus. I just miss the good ol' days when the score wasn't so lopsided. The Dawgs have put a whoopin' on us for two straight years. But please ask Coach Richt...why would you want to make this cute little tiger so sad? :confused3

OK and now for you and AUdisfan------I'll have to look past the fact that you support Auburn. :rolleyes1 As long as your a disney fan too I guess we can talk.:rotfl: If all Auburn fans are as cute as Randy's son, I may have to reconsider who I support.:upsidedow Not really, I'm a Georgia girl. I'll be looking forward to the next installment of your PTR. My first trip was in 1976 when I was 4 yrs old, so I wasn't too far behind you and Randy.

Just so you know, I also have a 10 month old who is a really cute Auburn fan. However, my computer is really old and I'm not really computer savvy enough to put any pictures in a post. Maybe one day.

I'm actually Georgia born and bred too. For some reason I've always been an Auburn fan though. When I married DH who graduated from AU, moved to Al, and then eventually moved to Auburn, the deal was sealed. My brother went to UGA and the rest of my family are Dawg fans, so they gave me a pretty hard time after UGA beat us so bad last week.

Have a good week and keep up the good work.

We'll just miss each other next year, though. :sad1: Our AP's expire Sept. 5, so we're going back the week before that.

Oh, and we're Auburn fans here too! LOL Actually I went to Alabama for 2 years but DH graduated from Auburn, so he's sorta converted me. (But my best friend and also my cousin are Georgia fans, so I love y'all too!)

And my first trip was in June 1972, but I was a little older than you - 11. :goodvibes

Hey! Great to meet yet another Auburn fan, and here in a Dawg fan's pre-TR of all places. I guess the old addage is true...if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. :lmao:

Interestingly, I was a Bama fan as a kid. My parent's divorced when I was 4. My dad was (and still is) a BIG Bama fan. We were actually living in Tuscaloosa when they divorced, and my dad continued living there during the 70's. In the 8th grade, I decided that I wanted to become an architect, and when I found out that Auburn had a great architecture school, I decided that I would go there (Shmu, the other school I considred was Georgia Tech, and I'm sure you're glad I didn't go there). Not long after I made this decision, Auburn's losing streak to Bama finally came to an end, the Bear retired, and Auburn became the dominant team in the state through the rest of the decade. Auburn never lost to Bama when I was a student there, and since I started rooting for the Tigers in '82, Auburn leads the series 15-10.

BTW, I only survived one year of architecture school, and I still regret at times not sticking it out. I ended up with a BS in psychology and now I'm pursuing a master's in education.

Hey Shmu, I just found this article and video which sorta parallels what's going on in your thread. ;)

I love the Flashback! That picture of you and your Dad is so precious. What a wonderful memory. We all should go back and dig out our old pictures, especially with the holidays coming up and all the relatives coming around.

I remember the plastic orange too! I loved how the outside was textured and felt nubby. Oh the things we all should have saved for posterity's sake!

Your itinerary looks really good. Its good to plan on having some flexibility. We went to Universal two days last week and we basically walked onto all the rides. Its a nice change.

If I could, I'd spend an entire week at EPCOT! Its my fave too! I really can't explain it, its just such a wonderful experience to taste, shop and visit all the different countries. We like to eat our way around the world!

Keep up the good work! I don't know when we're going back so I'm "planning" along with you!

i cannot say for sure that i have had one of those oranges at Disney (first trip to WDW 1980, i was 7), but i knew immediately what you were talking about before i saw the picture. they were my absolute FAVORITE!! i had them every single time we were at a park, WDW, Hershey. my personal favorite was the grape one, but i had a lot of orange ones too. i always insisted on bringing them home and using them for a few weeks after the trip. too bad we didn't keep them. thanks for reminding so many of us of a great memory!!

POST 2 ---ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Here is an overview of our agenda

I like the agenda. Looks like you're an Epcot lover like me.

2. My next memory is wanting to ride the Dumbo ride. Now this is when you had E-tickets. We had to pick our rides carefully. Especially being on a budget.

I remember the days of the ticket books. There were different lettered tickets, A through E, which corresponded to ride categories--the more thrilling the ride, the higher the letter category. We were always on a budget during our trips in the 70's and had to pick our rides carefully too. Kids today should appreciate the fact that they can ride a favorite ride as many times as they wish because that wasn't possible when we were kids.

I remember drinking out of the plastic orange.

I remember those plastic oranges! :thumbsup2

The picture of me and my dad is the only picture I have from that trip. I am sooooooooo thankful that Randy posted a lot of his vintage pics. You should check those out when you get a chance. (How’s that for a plug. And you didn’t even ask.)

Thanks for the plug, Shmu!!! :)

Hey, I just saw you posted on the homeschool thread and realized that I forgot to mention that we homeschool too!

DS18 just graduated in May and is at college right outside Orlando! :woohoo: He's flying home tonight for Thanksgiving and we're driving him back down on Sunday and staying for a week.

DD is 16 and a Junior and she also loves to sew. I never learned so she taught herself on my mom's 1960's Singer. She's also learning to quilt.

We were fortunate that a homeschool group from Alabama is going down at the same time, so she's going to get to participate in one of the Y.E.S programs next week. :teacher:

Your daughter might enjoy visiting my wife's cousin's shop, A Time 2 Sew, in Collinsville, AL (not too far from Jacksonville). They specialize in quilting, fabric, and embroidery. Her cousin also helps coordinate Collinsville's annual Quilt Walk which takes place every September. My wife and her sister have been going up to their cousin's shop occasionally for quilting lessons.

This is our 4th year to homeschool and we LOVE it! I wish we'd started at the very beginning and not waited so long.

My oldest DS went to public school the whole way through. When he was a senior I realized that I only had 5 years left with my other 2 kids, so I quit my job teaching at a private Christian school to stay home. DD said, "If you're going to be at home anyway, why don't you homeschool me?" I'd never really thought about it, but we did and I'm so glad! She was going into 8th grade (Christian school) that year and DS was in 10th. He chose to stay in p.s. until halfway through 11th grade, then decided to come home until he graduated. I wouldn't give anything for the time that we've had together.

Oh, and oldest DS didn't get left out either. We live in a college town and he lived at home until he got married 3 months ago, so we had lots of time together too. When he would come in from class he'd say, "I wish you wouldn't homeschooled me too. I would've learned a lot more!"

It's really brought our family closer together than we already were.

How long have you guys homeschooled?

I'm you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! So did we, and I can't wait to read your next post!

If you homeschool for any amount of time you soon learn it's not all about academics. I treasure how close our family is. I know our choice in homeschooling has a lot to do with that.
I have homeschooled my kids all the way through. I hire out tutors for the subjects I can't handle. They have taken classes off and on with other home schoolers also.

WDW is one of the only places where adults can be kids again. Where the real world can feel so distant and all our worries are tossed aside for a week.

I'm loving your plan.

I liked the Reuben at Sci-Fi. Stay away from the garden salad app. It's just lettuce w/ chopped tomatoes on top.

At Seasons, the sandwiches there were really good. I liked the Asian food. Decent, but not great.

Tusker House is now just a buffet. 19.99 for lunch and 26.99 for dinner. If you go to www.allearsnet.com, they have some reviews. I'll miss the counter service, but it actually looks pretty nice as a Buffet.

How nice that you finally found Pinocchio again.
I usually go with a sandwich for CS. I'll eat almost anything except salad. (which makes it harder to diet  )
Enjoyed the pictures of your family. I like them when they goof off once in a while (not just posing)

WDW is one of the only places where adults can be kids again. Where the real world can feel so distant and all our worries are tossed aside for a week.
That's why we keep going back.:mickeyjum
I liked the Reuben at Sci-Fi. Stay away from the garden salad app. It's just lettuce w/ chopped tomatoes on top.
At Seasons, the sandwiches there were really good. I liked the Asian food. Decent, but not great.

I have tried the Asian food. My DS likes it and I think it's OK but it's a little too bland for me. I like very flavorful foods. Sandwich's sound good. Too bad about the Tusker House. I'll have to think about that one.

Another vote for a sandwich.

Schmu- You are doing such a great job with the PTR. Definitely an inspiration for my TR that's not nearly as far along! :goodvibes

I love the Pinocchio story. If you are looking again, we found him this year at MGM, kind of off to the side during one of the main meet n greets under the Sorcerer's hat. We also saw him off to the left as you exit MK one afternoon. (I'm assuming you know that there is a number you can call, or ask a CM to call, to locate specific characters.) He was a favorite of my DS this time, and he's never even seen the movie!

http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd220/lighttechie/PinPic.jpg

As for the Land. We had a GREAT CS there. We went all the way to the right as you are looking at the options (can't remember the name of the section) and I got the smoked pork chops, mashed potatoes, a salad, and a pumpkin creme brulee. For a CS!!! (Plus drink, and the CMs noticed my "Celebrating an Anniversary" button and gave me a free giant chocolate chip cookie.) I'd personally skip the creme brulee, it was only so-so. The cookie made a great late night snack watching Illuminations.

I didn't even need to eat dinner after all that (but, of course I did anyway.) :lmao:

I have tried the Asian food. My DS likes it and I think it's OK but it's a little too bland for me. I like very flavorful foods.

There's a new Asian restaurant at AK called Yak & Yeti (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?restaurant.ID=473). I was really hoping to eat there when we went in July, but it was still under construction. It just opened about 2 weeks ago.

If you like very flavorful foods, then you must eat at Boma (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_bomadin.htm) (at Animal Kingdom Lodge). I read a lot of raving reviews about Boma before we went, and it definitely lived up to expectations.

Love the pic of your DS and Pinocchio. Finding him this year was a surprise because the year before, DH and I checked every park, asked several CM's, about 5 of them called around for us. He was just nowhere to be found except in the parade but I wanted him to sign my book. Worth the wait. That food sounds good. I'll make a note.:thumbsup2

Wake up.
Cry.

Eat at the POP one more time.
Cry some more.

OMG, your report is SOOO funny! Keep it up! It makes my day.

Those hotel fire alarms ARE loud! It went off where we were staying last year. (Popcorn incident, not my fault). My sister slept through it, I had to shake her awake, that girl can sleep. We went running out in our pajamas and high heels--the only shoes we could find. Other people took their time coming out, all dressed with their luggage. Hello people! FIRE ALARM! No time to look cute--get out!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only who cries when going home. I always freak out the airport staff. But its so sad when its over!

Go little turtle! :thumbsup2

The basement is the whole reason we bought this house. I LOVE having people over. We knocked out a wall to have it more open. We also have a garage. We are going to turn it into a workout room for our son. He is 18 and big into Martial Arts and fitness. He is not going away for college after his last year of HS. He wants to work and then go to a school around here. So, he will still be with us for a while.

It is alright to be sad at Christmas. People think everyone is supposed to be happy all the time which just compounds the depression. It was wonderful that the gentleman helped you regain your Christmas spirit. :santa:

He looked at me and said, “Are you in the Christmas Spirit?” I shook my head, escaped my thoughts and said, “What?” Then he looked right into my eyes, smiled the biggest joyful smile and asked again, “Are you in the Christmas Spirit?” I lied and said, “Yes.” Then he just stood there, forgetting about all the people piled up behind me and kept staring deep into my eyes as if God himself was speaking through this man. He took time out to acknowledge me. He said, “The Christmas Spirit is something we should have all year long.” I smiled and agreed. Then he took my hand tenderly in his as if I was his child and said, “God Bless you and Merry Christmas.”

That cheered me up. Thanks for that.

I am so so sorry to read about the un-invitation, and how much it must hurt you and your family. I am so sorry that you have cried so hard for the circumstances and for missing your mom. Please remember that she is with your always and that you have those precious memories to rely on in times of trouble.

I believe in miracles. I believe that you just have to ask God for a little help, even if it is just to get through the day. He was watching out for you today, reached out through this gentleman at Sam's club to give you that reassurance that it would be alright. I'm sure your mom was there too.

Its sad to say but you have to be a better person, an example for your kids on how to rise above adverse circumstances. I do hate that your children are also being cheated out of time with their grandfather. But one bad turn does not deserva another. I hope that one day very soon your step-mother will realize how much hurt and ill will she is spreading around. She is cheating herself and your father of spending wonderful time with your wonderful family that I have had the blessing to get to know through your trip report and the TK'ers.

Enjoy your family and this special time. Think on how joyous your mother thought Christmas was, learn from that. And there's always cake!

Please feel better and smile. Enjoy the loved ones you have and those that you have had the privilege to have known.

LOL!! i LOVE puny pirate! i think he's cute and i can't wait to see what other trouble he gets into. so funny!

btw, what a wonderful story you told the other day. that was really a situation where you could've carried on with your miserable day (God knows we've all done it), but something brought you out. i think the fact that you were able to see it for exactly that was the miracle. i think your mother was there trying to help you, love you, remind you what she loved about Christmas, and it was God's presence that allowed you to see that rather than miss the message from the man. in any case, what a great thing you did telling us about it. i know many times, especially at Christmastime, it can be very easy to slip into a funk, and soo much harder to work your way out.

i'm glad you got that message from the man too, because we got PP in the next installment! oh no it's mr. bill. i, too, remember him!

[QUOTE=Shmu;22299136]POST 8 -- GOAL #2 / SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY
The second goal I would like to achieve is to de-clutter every nook and cranny of my house. I am using the Fly Lady method. She has a great website if anyone is interested.
I have de-cluttered several rooms and closets already. The main room I am working on right now is the basement since we are in the middle of completing it. I have found many things in boxes as I was de-cluttering. [QUOTE]

:wave2: Schmu! I finally made it over here and I must say, your PTR is great. I'm loving the "Adventures Of Puny Pirate" :rotfl: We have 2 puny pirates at our house though I think mine are much better behaved than yours. Yours sure seems like a trouble maker :rotfl2:

Our puny pirate made the trip to Disney in 2006 and all he wanted to do was hang out in the hotel room.

http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u175/mkras0221/princesscostumes008-2-1.jpg
Our Puny Pirate only made it to Disney because DD4 is a huge pirates fan and she wouldn't leave home without him. Thankfully, we convinced her to leave him in the hotel most of time. I couldn't imagine the meltdown if she lost Jack in the park.

Looking forward to reading more. Can't wait to see where Puny Pirate goes next.

PUNY ROCKS! pirate: :yay:

On the exercise program: Jorge Cruz suggests doing 10 minutes of cardio first thing in the morning; actually, eat a protein snack 1st, then the 10 minutes cardio. It gets your metab boosted. It really kicked me off my plateau at one point. Also, I read that a study just showed that a 30 minute work out of doing 30 seconds of high intensity cardio alternated w/ 4 minutes of slow intensity is more effective than 30 minutes of medium intensity. FYI/FWIW

as you know, i love crocs and found them very comfy in wdw, but i always bring at least 2 pairs of shoes for the parks. usually sneakers, but now that i have crocs, it's sneakers and crocs.

by the way, what are rainbow shoes? can you post a link for them? are they flip flops? i finally have been able to wear them this past summer. so now i LOVE them, i wear them every where, with almost anything!

as for the bag, since we have little ones, we use a diaper bag. but sometimes we just use a back pack (like a jansport). it's not too big, you can put the things you need more often, or the little stuff in the front smaller pocket, and the rest goes in the back. even with ALL the stuff we need to bring, we have enough room.

as always, thrilled to see my friend puny. i vote definitely bringing the crocs, if only for his bed!

I like those Pirate crocs. Are they light? I don't like heavy shoes, I have enough weight to carry around as it is. :rotfl: I wear walking/ jogging shoes with arch supports all the time. Keeps me out of the fancy restaurants.
I just use a fanny pack. I don't like to carry stuff. I leave my wallet in the safe and just bring some money and credit card/ rewards card. Then whatever I can fit into the pack is all I take (no small kids now). :woohoo:

For the back pack I am looking into the jansport or bagallini.:confused3 Don't know yet. Might even want a hipster so my hands can be free.

What is so funny to me is, we did these in 2006. On our last trip in 2007 we went with some friends and talked about doing bathroom pics. (outside only) DH is ALWAYS having to run in there real quick. Getting worse the older he gets.
We knew nothing of the DIS at this point. I discovered the DIS when we returned. I was searching the net during my post WDW blues. I found your PTR and others who take pics like we do. I discovered we had company in our madness.

Here's a link http://www.rainbowsandals.net

They're the best. I only wear these. No shoe. sneakers, just these...unless it's raining or very cold.

thanks for the link. i'm definitely going to look for them. i love wearing flip flops, but so many are so uncomfortable. my favorites for comfort and look, are j. crew, and reef. more on that later, shmu!

Hey, are the Rainbow sandals available in stores, or only online? How do the sizes run? I'm always afraid to order shoes online because I like to try them on first.

as i said, i'm looking for them, too!

Oh and by the way, the Puny pix are great....I'm hoping for snow in Southern Cal next week....:confused3 Well, one can always hope.

well, good luck with that. i'll be really jealous if you get snow - we've been praying for some so the kids can play in it. so far, nothing, and we're in new york!

so, shmu, first of all, thank you for another post! again, i LOVE puny, so it was great to see him again! i love the pics in the snow! so funny, and the skiing and snowshoes! hilarious!

can you tell me where that bench with goofy is? my MIL loves him so it would be cool to get a picture of it.

nice to read about your DH. he's a funny guy, huh? nice to hear you describe him as your best friend. that may be the most important part of a marriage, right?! obviously it has served you well!

so about those stash reefs. i don't have that style, but i can tell you that reefs are the MOST comfortable flip flops. jordan, i haven't tried the rainbows yet, so don't get mad at me!! i would try those reefs if you can, you won't be dissappointed!

thanks for another post!

Loved the Puny pics and the ones of Tommy relaxing at WDW! The ones of him on the benches reminded me of the guy in one of the WDW planning DVD's (from 2006 or 2007...not sure) who is always looking for a bench to sit on while the others are enjoying all of the attractions. ;)

OMGosh. You win the prize. You are exactly right. It's from the WDW planning video from 2006. We were planning our 20th Anniversary trip without kids and watching the DVD. The only reason I'm up right now is I am waiting for DH and DS to return from a karate tournament in NC that my DS participated in. I think the surfing idea is a great one! I just saw it on the Travel Channel recently, and while I can't swim very well myself, it looks so cool. I like that its a controlled environment yet still very Disney. How do you go about enrolling?

My last trip included Universal Studios. Definitely more fast paced and lots of thrill rides. I'm sure your family will enjoy it. Its a completely different experience from Disney yet very satisfying in its own way. And I love the refillable mugs there! The best value in town!

And before you know it, you'll have grandkids to spoil there! We have talked about DVC. Or, we might just get a camper and camp there every year taking all the family. Future grandkids included. I would love that. But I hope grandkids are WAY down the road. I'm still too young for that.

Hey Shmu!

Basement: Rockin! Looks great! Puny is quite the handyman, isn't he? (The kids are in the shower--as soon as they get out I'll let them see the PunyPix).

Photos: GACK!! I know what you mean about not showing your face in there again--I had a similar experience at a convenience store involving lottery tickets, a carsick dog (I know what you're thinking: again with the throwing up, Ashley?), and an old polyester suit. I never went back....

Surfin': like, totally awesome! I bet he'll love that! I was going to suggest parasailing, which is what we're surprising DH with for his 42nd b'day present while we're there, but surfin' is like, way cooler!

Throwing up dog?:rotfl2:
Parasailing sounds fun.:thumbsup2

Hello again. I'm so far behind that I'm catching up on your PTR backwards. Its such a weird way to read it! I read someone's response, and I'm in suspense going back until I find the original post to figure it all out! Its turning your PTR into a mystery novella!

Anyway, you're doing such a great job! And, I love all the side notes. OMG! The photo story made me laugh so hard I almost cried. Someday I'll share the story of why you should also always wear clothes when hanging up fans... Oh dear.I read things backward too.:thumbsup2
Fans? Clothes? Do tell.popcorn::

popcorn::popcorn:: popcorn::

:scared1: I couldn't imagine the horror of that!!! But as a 3rd party... ohhh so funny .... :lmao::rotfl2:
.

Regarding the pics of Puny helping w/ the basement.... Great Job Puny!!!:thumbsup2 Basement looking awesome! This story is funny to me too. I was actually only embarrassed for a second. I'll share more on the basement in future posts. We are still working hard. It's a big job. Especially when you do it all yourself.

What a beautiful entry! Yes, you truly have been blessed with a remarkable young man. But then again, he was blessed to be born to you and your family.

Its true, God only gives you what you can handle. Johnny has had a tough lot in life but has not only risen above it but has excelled and blossomed.

They may grow up, but they never really go away.

He's just entering the next phase of his life. You have prepared him well for that. Enjoy your vacation because it is a time you will share together, not as a farewell.

I've truly enjoyed getting to know you and your family.

what a wonderful story of your son, and your family. what you may have left out is where he got all that positive thinking, and courage. you and your husband surely gave him the ability to fight and rise above his challenges. i was touched to see every couple of years another "problem," another obstacle. what terrific young man to have given that speech. once again, i say you've done an amazing job with your children. it does give me the hope of what we can give our children with a lot of hard work and even more love.

thanks for a great entry!

Shmu! I've been sooo busy lately, and I just know got to sit and read your post about Johnny. That was so beautiful!

It just goes to show that God has a plan and a purpose for each of His children. Some people would look at my little Mason and think "How sad. He has Down syndrome; he could never have a meaningful life." But we--those of us who know & love him-- look at him and say "Wow! I can't wait to see what God's got in store for him!"

Wow, what a sweet family you have. What a wondeful (and yummy) way to spend Valentine's Day.

I'm with your daughter--I don't like to be touched either. But Captain Jack was rather cute, I MAY just make an exception in his case. I really am not such a fan of the mascot in costumes, something I've had to work through while visiting WDW. You just never know who's inside.

Now I have to make the apple pie! It looks so so good!

Great update! Wow, that Cap'n Jack looks nigh authentic, don't he luv? (Did my pirate accent come accross in print? I never can tell...)

We have a pic of DD12 (then 7) at Epcot with a mime kissing her hand. That was evidently waaaay past her boundary, because when she saw the pic she demanded it be destroyed. She was really close to tears over it, and said she never, ever wanted anyone to see it.

I kept the pic, natch. Of course, now she's over the whole thing. I think....who knows, if we run into another mime at Epcot, she it might bring on some sort of PTSD...or would that be PTMD....

BTW Shmu--Does DD go to a University Model school? I ask because I noticed that you mentioned (that's three verbs in a row--I'm exhausted) that she goes (four) to school 3 days a week. We've attended a UMS in the past which we loved. When it started, it was one of only 8 in the nation.
