Hi

Its three weeks on Friday. Its not long at all and have plenty of work booked, but it still feels like a life time?

What do you do to break up the waiting game. Its exciting its around the corner, but I am so ready for this holiday now. I soo need it.

I think its going to be trip planning DVD's, films, holiday pics etc.....

I'm the other way Michelle, it's less than 5 weeks till we go and it's flying by. I feel like I've got tons to do, like buy a Christmas tree, put it up (a week on Saturday), we've got some friends and family meals to go to, swop presents and then the weekend we go away, we're going to see Jasper Carrott and staying over at the Novotel with Nat and her hubby, having an early Christmas Day and then heading up to Manchester the night before we fly. I'm going to be exhausted by the time we get there - and I'll definitely be ready for a holiday then :thumbsup2

I hope the time doesn't drag too much for you and that you have a fab holiday :)

You could have a look at my thread but i've made a countdown chain and put up the itnerary, you could make your packing lists, refresh the kids minds with all those disney characters (i realised charlie had never seen jungle book and loads of others so he is in training:lmao: ), locate all your xmas stuff ready to decorate, write your xmas cards and shopping list if you haven't done it yet, hopefully some of the above will help:grouphug:

I have to agree with Mandy, I think its flying by. So much to do, so little time.

I do think the kids should watch the planning dvd again. We can get them to choose their favourite rides..

I will pop over and have a look. Great ideas though. I think its because on some occassions I am up for 37 hours before I get too sleep. I think this is what makes the days feel rather long :rolleyes1 You tube has been a god send today. Great videos on there.

I'm like you, Mandy! Just got so much to do and had a bit of a panic today about how the time is slipping away from me!

Thanks to Claire's thread, I got all organised and did some serious planning this afternoon. Decided to add DDP (while its still 'straightforward' ) to my DVC ressie and made some ADRs accordingly! Checked out TGM for some tips and decided which park passes would be best for me and Samuel...

Plus I made hair and nail appointments for just before the trip and checked the progress of prezzies already ordered... :santa:

...I hope the time doesn't drag too much for you and that you have a fab holiday :)
Same here! ::yes:: ::yes::

I alternate between the time dragging by and then mad panic. It feels like so much to do in so little time, we are off to Birmingham this weekend and are then visiting the week after. So I will then have two weekends to get sorted, deliver gifts, cards etc, plus packing, but then I sit and look at my calendar and it still seems far, far away.

It's 6 weeks till we go and I am starting to think about getting things ready, like Mandy we have family meals, parties, kids birthdays etc etc and all that fits round working 77 hours in the shop between the two of us at the busiest time of year in the card and gift industry - trust me by the time Christmas morning gets here I will be well and truely ready for a holiday!

PS Jules if you are coming up to Brum why don't you pop in and say hello!

OMG Jules, when you put it in terms of weekends its not much at all, and umm....I haven't even started my xmas shopping, although I have bought xmas cards, I better get writing:cool1: and maybe get some cases down.

Looks like we are going to overlap a bit Karen, if you see a dishevelled mother with 3 small kids trying to keep her cool then that will be me:rotfl: Glad my thread inpsired you to get organised

I'll be the disheveled mother dragging her teenage son around and trying to keep her cool as he's incapable of moving faster than a snail!
