Quality Suites or Hawthorne Suites (near Universal)????

We're definitely planning to visit Orlando Sept 29 thru Oct 10 w/ me, mom, and siblings (12,10,and8). We want to stay onsite at the best price (thinking about 2 ASMo rooms, or whatever the best deal is, you can tell me), but the main point is that we also want to stay offsite starting around 10/05 near Universal. We've pretty decided between Quality Suites and Hawthorne Suites because

-they are the closest 2bed/2bath to Universal
-they offered HOT buffet breakfast
-they have shuttles, because I don't know if I'm going to be driving (I'm 23, and that UAD surcharge can be a killer)
-their price is about the same

So which one of these do you recommend? Also, are there any other ones that you recommend beside these?

I would think Hawthorne is much better (part of the Hilton chain). I've always had luck....

Also prices then should be very good.....

I haven't stayed at either but, I'd also choose the Hawthorne Suites. I've stayed the location in LBV and also others accross the U.S. and they have always been nice.

I would definately pick Hawthorne Suites. I stayed at the Hawthorne Suites near Sea World many times, and always enjoyed it. I believe that Hawthorn Suites is a more upscale hotel than Quality Suites. :)
