Continental out of Newark

Any idea why Continental's fares are sooo high ($350 - $388) for this August? We always fly them at least twice a year to Orlando and have never paid even close to that much. Also, why is Delta much lower ($201) for the same time period. I might have to switch my loyalty....... think Delta will take my Continental miles, LOL!

supply and demand. They only discount so many seats and when those are gone they start going up and up. Keep checking their website daily as they do change. Did you choose specific flights or did you choose by lowest price. Sometimes choosing lowest price will give you a better option and will show you all of your options for that day. We bought our tickets in November for August and paid $177
