We are planning a visit to bb in dtd @ 3:30 for my dd5 and ds7. I am trying to plan the best place to eat dinner after she will be all dressed up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Are you going into the parks? What are their favorite characters? Do watch the time though. The BBB has been known to be running late and of course if you want the photo's taken there-there might be a lineup. We had ressies for 1:30 at DTD BBB and still were late for a 6pm reservation.

I would do 1900 Park Fare - with ressies at around 7:30 to 7:45.

We did a 12:30 BBB with a 6:30-7:00 Norway princess dinner. When we booked it, I thought the timing was insane, but it was all we could get. Turns out, with the photo shoot after, the timing worked out fine. We thought there was no better combination after BBB than a princess dinner for our princess and her cousin. They had a ball.

we have 3:30 appointments, but we are not doing to the photo shoot just the hair and nails. we are being her halloween costume from the disney store and going to take our own pics. she loves all the princesses, but i was afraid the storybook dinner would be too girly for ds7 he is getting the "cool dude" package and i don't want him to be left out.

Maybe I missed it, but which salon are you going to use?

If MK, hands down have dinner with Cindy at CRT.

If DTD, I'd head to the GF and dine, also with Cindy, at 1900 Park Fare.
Or go to Epcot and do the Princess Storybook dinner in Norway. (The food is actually good.) I think your son will enjoy it too. I was surprised by how much boys like it too. The princesses make a big deal about the "young princes." Seems to me most of the servers are young men--at least, my teen-ager mooning about how cute they all were made me feel they were--so there is plenty of testosterone in the air!

That having been said, any where you go she'll get triple the "princess" references.

Have a great time!

We did this 2 weeks ago and it was soooo fun for my DD. We had our BBB (MK) appt first thing in the morning.

After the BBB time we went down to the Kodak Exposition (Sorry can't remember the exact name) at the front area of Main St.- next to Tony's. You can have your DD's pictures taken there by a photopass photograher (even if you do not purchase the photo package). They will put these on photopass for you free of charge.

For dinner that evening we ate at 1900 Park Fare. My DD was absolutely thrilled to meet Prince Charming. The stepsisters were sooo funny and it was a great time. OF couse, she/we loved meeting Cinderella as well.

She changed out of her dress into shorts and a tee and we headed back to the MK for Wishes. BTW, her hair stayed "Fixed" all day even after riding BTM 2xs and it was an on-off drizzly, rainy day. I was very impressed with the gel they used!:rotfl2:

FYI...You can take either the monorail or the ferry from MK to GF.

We will be at the DTD BBB with a 3:30 ressie and I was able to get a 5:30 ressie at 1900 will I be able to make it there if we are only doing hair and nails. I figured we could take alot of pics at the GF.

All BBB make-overs can go to the photo shoot at the Kodac Center (Next to Tony's Town Square) and also at the Rose Garden (near Tomorrowland). All you have to do is add pictures to your photopass card.

You've spend the money. And your children are smiling from ear to ear. Just go for it. My dd9 did only the hair and nail package and she wore a special WDW shirt that they are selling currently.

I prepurchased the CD expecting to have tons of pictures. And it was so worth it. Just from BBB we had over 100+ pictures on photopass.

And the pictures look wonderful! They look very professional.

By the way, my DD did the pop princess make-over and she swam in it, took showers, etc. And she kept the style all week! If you can believe that! All picture from the entire week look great!

Do you have to schedule the photo shoot?

We had appointments for my DD8 and her friend at DTD our first afternoon, and followed it by going to the GF for dinner at 1900 with Cinderella. It was great because we weren't going to a park that day, and the girls were able to get "dressed up" in nice skirts/sundresses. Of course they were made a huge deal of at dinner (it didn't hurt that they were BOTH celebrating their 8th birthday), and we had time after to walk around and take our own photos of them at that gorgeous resort! So that has my vote :)
