Is SW as much walking as Disney???

My sister who will be with us can't walk too much because of back problems.

I know at Disney you can walk 5-15 miles a day. Is SW park huge? She was

thinking it might just be easier if it is not that large to walk since there are

lots of exhibits to get out and look at. TIA

SW is huge. Most of the exhibits are kind of close to each other. But Shamu Stadium and Wild Artic are all the way on the other side of the park. They are away from everything else.

I went this Sept after many years not going with son who is mobile but has issues. He was exhausted by mid afternoon and we had to leave. We didn't even get to see Shamu because he couldn't physically move fast enough to logistically get to show 1 and too tired long before show 2 to stay. Apparently Shamu woke up on the wrong side of the bed and they decided only two shows :sad2: I wanted to drive back just for the Shamu show one day, but they said they schedule them each morning once they see what kind of mood Shamu is in............. They gave me an number to call each morning and check.

At Disney he could open and close a park. Everything is so tight that there is lots of resting in between walks.
