I have been waiting for our "roll call". I am addicted to the board, how about you. Will be heading to WDW on the 17th and onto the 19th cruise.
Have you cruised with DCL before?

Kristiana: We have cruised Disney 3 times. Obviously we loved it or we wouldn't be cruising 10-12 & 10-19!
I am addicted to cruising and this website!

Denine and Kristaia, my DH and myself will be on the cruise with you. Just got off in January and still have the excitement for October. It just won't come soon enough for me!!! We thought about taking our 99.00 cruise but decided 3 days just aren't enough.

Welcome Jiminy! Cruising is so addictive!

AMEN to that response, Denine. The boards help me dream of the past and future cruises. Unfortunately, our cruising has to slow down for awhile. Our twin daughters are graduating from college next year so you know what that means. $$$$$. Plus, one of them is getting married the following fall. Another $$$$$.

Hi Kristaia and Disney6! Is everyone as excited as me? The worst part of a cruise is the WAIT!!!!!!

Yes, we are excited!!!! FYI - last time we cruised was in October also so for formal nights I put my girls in Princess costumes instead of formal dresses. They also served as Halloween costumes a few weeks later. They looked adorable and the second formal night I saw ALOT of little ones dressed in the costumes from the boat (much more expensive ones too!). The costumes also are on sale at the Disney stores up here right now for 50% off!!!!! This year they will be Belle, Minnie and Cinderella but my son (who was Captain Hook last time) WILL NOT dress up this year (he's 10 so I can understand....!!!)

What an adorable idea! I will have to look out for those cuties. I only wish that the Disney Wonder and/or Magic was around when my girls were little. But--going with one of them this past January was so much fun. Watching her eyes light up when we boarded was exactly what I had hoped for. That little girl was still there. I don't see how you can go on a cruise with little ones. I tell you my girls were all about DL and WDW and still are. That is why we only took a 4 dayer in Jan. They still have to visit WDW. In fact, her twin stayed at WDW with her fiance as we cruised with the other one. Actually, I love both the land and sea myself. If I had to choose, I know that cruising would win out, however. It is just DH and myself. They won't let my furbabies on board. I love to see all the little girls dressed up like princesses on formal nights. They are sooo cute.
I can't wait for our upcoming Disney cruises. At least we have our Princess cruise to the Panama Canal to look forward to next month!

Disney 6,

What do you think about your DD3 in the clubs. I am hoping mine will enjoy it. Yours at least has sibs. around.
Clare is in childcare so is used to others, hopefully they will make her feel welcome. Turns 3 on the 17th of this month.

This is so much fun actually getting to talk about our cruise. It is still too far off for DH to get excited yet. I'll just have to get excited with you all.

Krista

What do you guys think? Should we do the Airport Hyatt and Disney transfers or the Radisson at the Port and use Tiffany Towncar for transportation to the hotel and back to the airport after the cruise? We would be shuttled to the ship via the Radisson shuttle. Been reading on the board about the great deal at the Radisson. Read that it is really neat to wake up at the Radisson and see the ship. It would cost about the same. What are all of you doing? Sandy

I am not at all worried about my DD3. She will be three on the 29th of March so ours are really close in age. True, she will have one of her sisters in the same group but it's not the one she really is close to but..... On our last cruise my oldest girl was just 4 and didn't stay in the club that much but she did have two other sisters who were not in the clubs at all so she knew they would be with my DH and I and had a little bit of green eyed monster! Your kids must be toilet trained to be in the club(mine has been for about a year now) so if she's not I'd be working on it!

We stayed at the Radisson last time and hopefully will again. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was when we pulled in. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool or anything as we got there around 2am! The goal this year is to get there early Friday and enjoy it - it really is great and worth the money!!! Since we drive from Ontario we have our van and my husband will drive us to the ship, drop us and our luggage off and drive back to the hotel and take the shuttle. That way we don't have to try and carry all our luggage on the shuttle. Works great. I just checked us all in while he was taking car back to hotel.

I read somewhere that the shuttle to the port from the Radisson is a little hard to get on one of the 1st shuttles. Do you know what time they run them? Is it like one van making several return trips? We like to be one of the first people on no other reason but just to enjoy the ship. In fact, last time we were the 1st on. The first time we cruised we did not get on till late. We had Disney transfers from the airport and that just made us rush around for the ressie scramble and lunch. You sure have thought your shuttling down to perfection. I bet you come loaded with luggage. Sounds like it works perfectly for you!!! Sandy
