Has anyone used the points that come from using the Disney VISA to purchase their DVC annual passes at the park? In the past, I have used these points just like cash and I am hoping it will work the same way when I go to purchase my DVC discounted annual pass for WDW.
Anyone try this?
Thanks,
Mary Lou

Yes, we have done this. You just need to get the points put on the reward card, and give them the reward card at guest services. Or give them the number off your card by phone. We applied the remaining balance to our Visa for next time. It really is very easy. Good luck!:)

I've done this as well. If you do not have enough points on the rewards card to cover the total cost of the AP, be sure you know exactly how much is on the rewards card to apply to the total (it will be helpful...although not required).

I have done this twice. It is much easier if you do know how much is on the rewards card. Both of my purchases were at the MK Guest relations window. If you purchse online throught he DVC website link you can also apply your Disney Visa Rewards card for payment.

If you do this through MS and there are not enough points on the card, can you charge the remainder on your Visa?

Yes. You should be able to. When I bought my first AP, I did it this way. I called central ticketing, though, and they applied my rewards card first and the remainder went on the Disney Visa.
