This board have been great for planning an upcoming cruise. However, can anyone provide insights regarding Pirates of Nassau Museum. Is it worth visiting? Is it far from the ship? Does not look far from the maps...

Can anyone help??

Thanks.....

We did a little research on the Museum before our first cruise and had planned to visit. Due to Hurricane Floyd we were rerouted to Key West and then to Nassau. Our day at Nassau was cut in half so we did not make it to the museum. We did get to see it from the outside and it looks pretty neat. You can easily walk to it from the ship.

Once again thanks

My sons and I visited the museum in August of 2000. We really enjoyed it. There is a special price for cruise ship passengers I think for the three of us it was $10 or $12 dollars. It was very informative and my sons 7 and 9 at the time loved it. It is a short walk from the ship maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Your mainly on the shopping street and then up one block to the museum. There is a web site.

I thought is was well worth it for my sons to visit something other than the beach.

Looks like we will be going there. Our kids are about the same age. Just like like you we are looking for something different other than the beach and Atlantis
