Any info on when either Pop Century or POFQ will open?

Does anyone know when Pop Century will open or when POFQ will reopen? Just curious for planning my May trip. :)

I have heard PO-FQ will reopen in the fall. We have ressies for December.

I haven't heard about when Pop Century will open.

I was at the WORLD from Feb. 1-5th and a nice Bus driver told me that POP will open either in Dec. of this year, or Jan. of next!:D Hope that helps!

The information I was able to obtain is the PO-FQ will accept ressies for trips starting September 28th. We have ressies for October 27-November 3.

As for the Pop Century. Slow progress is still being made with the construction of the newest value resort, and they hope to have it open by the beginning of next year. I really think that one is more of a wait and see.

I just read on one of the posts that someone made ressies are FQ for May of this year. I didn't think they were taking ressies until the fall, but ... maybe things are changing.

I thought I've read that FQ has always had a few rooms open for larger families.

I made a reservation for POFQ last month for this coming April. I called back to check on something and I started talking with the CM and the subject came up about POFQ. When I told her we had ressies for POFQ she said that it wasn't possible because they can't even see it in their system. I gave her my confirmation number and she pulled it up - sure enough it was POFQ. She said - "I have to print this off and show it to someone!". Needless to say, we changed our reservations, but I still got the confirmation in the mail for POFQ. Can you imagine showing up for your WDW vacation and the resort being completely closed??? I wonder what you get for that one?

Ityldu...it is the Bayou rooms at PO-R that have accomodations for 5...they haven't been closed. In fact all of PO-R is now open.

PO-FQ is slated to reopen this fall as previously slated...up until September 28, no ressies can to stay there as the CRO computers won't show the rooms as being available. Now we can just hope things stay on course, and that those with ressies there this fall won't have to be switched!
