Poly Concierge and PS

We are staying at the Poly concierge and they can plan our PS for us in advance if we want them to. I know the concierge desk has a few tables blocked at most restaurants so they can book last minute PS for concierge people. My question is, do you think that if you book PS dining with the concierge desk you get a better table? Or do you think it doesn't matter if I book it directly with WDW-Dine, if they have availability.

If you book through the concierge, a note is made on your ressie so the screen at the restaurant shows "concierge guest." I think it might have gotten us some better tables a few times, but some times I am not sure there were any "upgrades." Of course, even 1 upgrade is great! :)
