I am considering pitching my new concept reality show to the Disney Channel called, "Who Wants To Be The Next Disney Channel Star!"

The show would tour America in search of the next person to become a star on the Disney Channel. Contestants would perform acting, singing, and dancing routines. They would then be narrowed down to finalists who would come to Burbank, California to compete in a reality show in which the winner would receive a contract to star in a Disney Channel Television Show or Feature Film.

The talent search phase could also include possible dates and locations in the UK and Ireland.

I would love any input from people regarding this production.

The details are on my casting blog.

Sincerely,

Alan Baltes

PS Just Google "Disney Auditions" and the casting blog is the first one that comes up.

Isn't that sort of copying The Next Food Network Star?

Well, the Next Foodnetwork Star copied other shows that copied other shows that copied American Idol that copied Star Search.

Most relaity shows are like that.
But it still sounds cool.

This would be amazing! My friend and I are always talking about how we could totally do the whole Hannah Montana thing. I only have one question...Would you have to sing, dance, and act at your audition because I mean really not every great actor/actress can do all 3. I can act and dance but singing...lets just say that is only an experience me and my shower share!:)

Oh yeah...Are you a kid like us or a disney worker?

Wow that's cool. I would love to be on Disney Channel - too bad I can't act, sing (I'll sing privately sometimes), or dance! LOL!! SO when does the whole thing start?;)

Well, I went on his blog and it is true.
But to be able to do this you need to send in a photo professionally done and your resume.
I think you need to have an agent or something, but thats alot of $$!
