Am I the only one that's annoyed by how quickly Disney remove their classics from circulation after being released.

For example, I bought the Lion King when it was first released on DVD. A few months ago my DVD got scratched by a dodgy DVD player. I wanted to buy a replacement copy but can't find it new in any shops whatsoever! It's a bloomin nuisance.

I then looked on amazon marketplace and they were starting at £27?! I also looked for Beauty and the Beast and the cheapest I could see was £50?!

I know why Disney do this, to keep demand up and for moneymaking purposes, but it doesn't mean I can't have a good old fashioned rant!

Sorry, but the DVD release of Jungle Book (got the special edition for £14 btw :D) just brought back some memories.

Don't know if you are still in possession of damaged disc but if you go into Toys R Us, near the customer service desk you should find envelopes for a service called Scratchbusters, you send your disc in the post to them and it comes back good as new, for a very low fee too. just something to consider:thumbsup2
