I told him that the previous brochures had a green purple or blue for different days, but he told me that the castle club price is always the same, no matter what date. I calculated the dates and the rates he quoted me and it would comproable to the highest blue rate of last year. Do you think they are changing and doing away with the color coded system for different dates? I am planning on coming on a Sun. or Mon. in May and the old calendar looked like it would be green and least expensive.
Maybe I should just wait for the book, but I am tired of waiting to plan our whole vacation around the least inexpensive castle club rooms. The difference however between the green and blue dates is substantial.
Thanks, Heather

I'd be tempted to try phoning again and see if you can get another CRO ;)

Hi. Cyrano. Thanks for another fast response. The problem is that I am calling from the US and everytime I call, even last year, I seem to get connected to the same guy. I will have to check on the website and see if the numbers given for reservations are the same for the US and the UK.
Thanks, Heather

Then it would become possible that a room in lets say Sequoia Lodge in the Christmas season would be cheaper then a CC room??
Looks a little to much like a fairy tale to me.

This new plan would be really bad.... The way the reservation person made it sound, the top price would be the same for every day of the week all year round. There would be no more less expensive times to go (green less crowded times). I guess I will have to see when the new book comes out.
